Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

New Chairs

Rows of Corn
The corn is a about a foot and a half tall.

55 degrees and foggy this morning when I left on my walk. I dropped off a book at the library for Ken. A short walk this morning of only 3.5 miles around town and one of the cemeteries.  Had to be home by 7:45 because we had to leave the house at 8:25.

I saw a few bunnies hopping about and this deer in the fog off in the distance.  It's a pretty far zoom in but I liked the picture.

We went to church again this morning for the Fingerprint Ministry books.  Finished the Spanish ones and started on the French Creole ones.  We worked from 9 - 12 and then we all had pizza for lunch.  It was a fun morning.  Yesterday I worked on the staple machines and today I folded covers and correlated the two sections together.

Picked up our new chairs in the afternoon and are very pleased with them.  Of course we had to sit on the porch for a while. Now we have a  nice clear view right over the railing. : )
Today we had fog, rain, clouds, and finally the sun came out during the second half of the day.

The usual evening at home tonight. : )

Hope your day was a happy one.

Great chairs. You will enjoy those. I love the foggy pictures from your walk. You will have to share pictures of the little books you are making. I would like to see what those look like! Have a blessed Sabbath.

Hi Karen, Thanks for answering my question back on Friday. Lots of neat photos in the last couple of posts ... I especially like the flowers, the sky, and the corn. I remember when I was into gardening that they used to say "knee high by the 4th of July" was what the farmers expected for corn. Ha ha ... don't know if it is true or not. In any event, the corn near you is doing quite well for early June! Thanks for sharing all and have a good week ahead!

Hi love your new chairs, those are very different. I haven't seen any quite like that. I also love your pic of the deer which are not easy to catch!
