Turned a bit chilly over night and it was only 45 degrees this morning when I went out for my walk. It was cloudy but no wind.Walked all over town again and around the two cemeteries and the ball park loop. Down at the pond by the Drane House the baby geese must have been cold because all 6 of them were all huddled together.
I don't have any azaleas in my yard but all around town they are out and blooming.
Didn't see anyone else out walking this morning.
I walked 5.2 miles.

No work at Happy Trails today. Had other things we needed to do.When I got back from walking Ken had already left with the tracker to help a friend out by digging up his back yard. : )
This morning I mowed the lawn and it was still only in the 40's. Planned on staying out and doing some other yard work but it was a bit chilly.
Debated about doing laundry because it was cloudy and looked like it might rain but I took a chance and did some anyway. Luck was with me because the sun did finally come out though it stayed in the 50's.
After lunch I went outside and planted a whole bunch of marigolds. I put some in two big pots down by the vegetable garden and all around the outside of the garden fence. Also planted marigolds out in front by the porch. The only thing planted in my garden so far is rhubarb and some lemon balm. We hope to get out in the next few days to buy the rest of the plants now that we shouldn't have any frost.
The month of April in our church is tract month. We are divided up into two teams and which ever team hands out the most tracts gets to have a spaghetti dinner served to them by the losing team. This year our team lost (only by 35 tracts) and this was the spaghetti dinner night. We still got to eat the dinner. : )
And so ends another day.
It's been a good one.
Life is Good.
Hope your day was a happy one.
happyone : )

In answer to that question I'd say 42. : )

Love your answer! I'd say 75. We are not two of a kind! =D
It has turned cold. My goodness. I mowed the lawn today and it was most pleasant in the cool temps. Had to bring in the annuals as we are expecting frost. This is truly late for one with Memorial Day on Monday...the usual guideline around here.
Hope Ken and his friend had a blast tearing up that back lawn!
I would say I was 36. :-)
I'd say I was in my 40's, I enjoyed that decade.

I love your images, the goslings are so cute huddled together. It is chilly here too. Your garden must looking pretty with the flowers planted. I would say I was in my 40's too. Have a happy day!
I love the picture of the geese. It is chilly here as well. I haven't planted any annuals yet because we may still get a frost in the next few days. Most days I feel like I'm in my 30's!
We're just waiting to be sure there's no threat of frost before we plant things here too - traditionally June 1st.
The goslings are cuddling :) It was chilly here yesterday and today is only up to 55 - and it's lunchtime!
In answer to that question/quote - I'd say 32.
We had freezing rain yesterday!! Fortunately no frost last night.
It's warming up now.
The baby geese all piled up... cute.
Your photos are so beautiful! we had some Canadian geese visit the farm again this year, usually the hatch out some babies, but not this year, my dh found a rat snake in her nest, she ran off! I will miss seeing them!
Hope you don't get any frost, so your herbs can be bought and planted soon! I will be going to our state farmer's market next week to buy more herb plants, they always have the best plants, and it gives dh and I an outing!~smile~
Thanks for sharing,
Blessings,
Sue
Well, you are almost 43, then, right? Less than a week!
