Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

It was very good.

Genesis 1:31 - 2:1 & 2
And God saw everything that He had made, and behold,
it was very good.
And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Thus the heaven and the earth were finished,
and all the host of them.

And on the seventh day God ended His work which he had made;
and He rested on the seventh day from all His work that He had made.

Have a blessed and restful Sunday.
God loves you.

Gorgeous picture and scripture. I remember the days when nothing was open on Sundays (no stores or even gas stations).. People were encouraged back then to spend the day with family --and rest/relax... Times have changed, haven't they?

Looks like you two are getting some work done at HT....

Hope Ken enjoys his time away with the guys.
Hugs,
Betsy

Observing the Sabbath is good for body, mind and spirit. It is a day of rest and reflection to prepare us for the challenges of the other six days of the week. Thanks for this post. Have a good Sabbath!

I visited my step mother in the nursing home. It is sad, she can remember hardly anything from her life. It is like the pages of her life book have been mostly erased. But still, she was happy to see Mary and me, so that was nice. I think she knows us, but has no clue from where.
