I am very happy to say that my complete walk was outside this morning. : ) It was 27 degrees and once the sun came up it stayed out. There was a bit of a wind but I had my orange scarf wrapped around me and partly over my face and it worked great. Went to the post office first and dropped mail in the slot and then headed over to the cemetery but wasn't able to walk around it because of the snow. This is the road leading up there. Some ice but walking in the middle was ice free.
I stayed on the main road and headed up toward HT and also went up Barn Sale Road. That was ice free too like the main road.
Another picture along Barn Sale.
Very rarely does a car pass by when I'm walking along Barn Sale but today there were two. A state truck passed me, turned around and then stopped when he reached me. I had on my bright orange sweatshirt and he said to me, "I thought you were a hunter." "No," I said, "just making myself visible so cars will see me." He wondered if I was cold and told him I had quite a few layers on. He told me to have a nice day and off he went.A couple minutes later a woman stopped her car and asked me if I was just out walking or needed a ride. I told her I was just going for my morning walk but thanked her for asking.
I walked back down the hill, through town and home. So very nice to be outside!!!
Walked 6.1 miles.

Finished the puzzle. I couldn't believe that there was a piece missing - the right bottom corner. Well, if there has to be a piece missing, that is a good one for it to be. : )Got my work done in the morning and that left the afternoon for reading and knitting. It has turned out to be a nice sunny day. That is two in a row, but more snow is predicted over night.
Forgot to mention that last Sunday evening at church I hung my coat up in the foyer and when I went to get it afterwards it was GONE. I'm hoping it will be brought back when the person realizes that it is not their coat. I'd hate to think that someone would actually steal a coat at church.
We are headed off to church this evening so maybe I'll get my coat back. : )
Hope your day has been a happy one.

of which all men have some.

Beautiful winter scenes. Hope you get your coat back. I'm sure someone just got mixed up and grabbed it. Mary Jo
Beautiful pictures. How odd that a piece was missing from that puzzle! I believe I would be very disappointed. It is a lovely image! I've "lost" items from the coat rack in the past. A couple of times mine never did return. There was one left in exchange, though, and I think I received the better end of the deal once. I'm hoping your coat will be returned.
I had a nice golf umbrella disappear at my church. (shrug) I like the rain anyway.
There was a cute cartoon I saw recently. A jigsaw piece is in a psychiatrists office and he says, "Doc, you ever feel like you have to be part of something bigger?
Oy! Did I leave out the apostrophe in "psychiatrist's?"
Ah ha! I knew there was a reason why I always keep my coat with me. =D Actually, church has been so cold that I use it like a cloak or blanket. You are always so happy to be able to be outside. Only two people are wondering if you are crazy! =D
Your coat being taken in church reminded me that years ago,my Dad put his almost new Bible on the shelf above the coat rack and went downstairs at church for a cup of coffee, when he got back his Bible was gone.He said,he just hoped that whoever took would read and study it.
Isn't it nice to know that there are still caring people out there who are willing to stop and see if you need a ride? Your snow pictures are beautiful...maybe you will be able to take more pictures of fresh snow tomorrow. The high is only to be in the teens, so I imagine you will be walking in the basement tomorrow. That puzzle is beautiful! I would never have noticed that there was a piece missing if you hadn't mentioned it...but I agree with you totally...good that it was in the corner. ;)
Have a great day tomorrow....and I do hope that you get your coat back tonight. That happened to me once...another lady and I had identical coats. When I went to get my coat I realized what had happened. We both wear different coats now! :)
Take care.
Brrr....that isn't very warm. I've been complaining about 40 something weather so I should be more thankful. - What a bummer about the missing puzzle piece but that is the best place to miss a piece, less noticeable.
Love the snowy scenes but it looks so cold.. It was nice of the people to stop and ask if you needed help.. The puzzle is pretty, I love the covered bridges. I hope you coat is returned..Have a happy Thursday!
Hi There, Glad you were finally able to walk outside. I'm sure you enjoyed that... I will just be glad to be able to walk ANYWHERE... ha... My knee 'is' truly getting better---but is still painful and I have to give the healing TIME. I'm too impatient.... ha
Hope your coat returns. Could someone have come inside from outside during the service???? When I worked for churches, we always had theft problems (cars in the parking lot, people coming inside during services or Sunday School to steal)... Kinda sad...
Hugs,
Betsy
It looks cold in your pictures, but I know you are always dressed for the weather.
Boy are you ever speedy with your puzzles. That would probably take me weeks.
Hope your coat shows up. Do they have a lost and found?
Pretty scenes but it looks soooooo cold! Glad you were able to walk outside again, however. I like your puzzle. How odd that it was missing a piece (assuming it was a brand new puzzle).

I can't say enough about your photographs ... in this post my favorites are #2 and #4. Just wonderful!
