My Lighthouse Collection

Another cold with snow falling so no walk outside yet again. Did the usual 6 miles the basement.
Keeping busy inside today. Got more cleaning done, did some reading, and worked a little on the puzzle. Haven't worked on it much so it's slow going.
At times this afternoon the snow came down harder than I've ever seen it before. This is out my dining room window.
Headed out in the snow for church this evening. Didn't feel like cooking so we stopped at Burger King for a quick supper on the way.
Pastor Leatherman and Kathy have returned from their trip to New Zealand save and sound. It was so good to see them again. We all really missed them.

Every tomorrow has two handles.
We can take hold of it by the handle of anxiety,
or by the handle of faith.

I ask that you please keep those prayers going for my mom. She isn't
doing all that good. She gets out of breath very easily and is now on
oxygen. Her test results said that her arteries are good but one of her
heart valves is pretty bad. Another appointment with another doctor to
hear options and decide what to do.
Comment Replies:
Ida - You have to go out here on snowy roads or you'd be home in the house all winter. : ) You just get used to it.
Bev - I lived in a crowed area back then and I think the fox was just used to seeing people around.

Will remember your momma in my prayers. Wow that snow is really coming down. I love you lighthouse collection! Have a great evening!
Your lighthouse collection is wonderful.
Will pray for your mum and you as well.
How did your pastor and his wife like his visit to a corner of our little country?
Diana
I like your lighthouse collection!
Oh that snow has just made it here...we're getting flakes and I am wondering what it will be by morning. I have plans for tomorrow that involve being out and about so... Must be flexible in winter as you know so well!
Glad to learn that you pastor and his wife are safely home. New Zealand is a long way away! They came back to winter, which must be a little shock after summer for a few weeks.
Yes, I will continue to pray for your mom. I hope that she gets encouraging news about the next steps to take. As an only, I know that these things have the potential to weigh heavy so I am praying for you, too.
(((HUGS))) for your mom!
Sure, I will keep your Mom in my prayers.. I love the lighthouses, very pretty collection.. Great quote, enjoy your day!
Your lighthouse collection is beautiful! That snow yesterday afternoon was something, wasn't it?! I was so grateful that my husband was able to leave work a bit earlier yesterday since he has to come over the mountain from Morgantown. Stay warm!
Hi Happyone, That picture at the Burger King says it all. My goodness, I just can't believe how the East has been hammered this winter with snow. I'm pretty sure it's going down in the record books ... what do you think? Pretty amazing you mentioning the snow coming down harder than you've ever seen it before. Will keep your mom in prayer. John
Thinking of your mother and sending good wishes for her improvement. You do have the outer border of the puzzle put together. That's where I always begin, too. We aren't equipped here to handle ice/snow, and we've just stayed inside this week. In fact, churches have cancelled services be cause of the weather conditions. Very icy and cold here!
Prayers for your mother... Hope they can find out what is wrong and 'fix' it... God Bless.
We are finally getting some WINTER here (but nothing like you have had and are having) this week. Had a terrible ice storm on Monday, snow on Wed, and now MINUS 6 degree temps this morning.... Mercy Me...
Stay WARM..
Hugs,
Betsy
Exactly true about the snowy roads. I still remember the night we drove 65 miles each way in a blizzard on a work night to go to a show that we had tickets for. You just get used to it, slow down a bit, and give yourself a little more time.
Sorry your mother is not doing well. I have been catching up and hoped to see that she had turned the corner.
Love your lighthouses. A former co-worker (now retired) has a goal of seeing all the lighthouses in the USA. I believe that Michigan has more than any other state, followed by Maine. She gets out on the road a lot since retiring, and never looks back.
Prayers sent up for your mom.
I'm also a lighthouse fan. Love your collection!
Oops. I think my comment disappeared.
One of my neighbors collects lighthouses too.
That dense precipitation is impressive.
Praying for your mom.
Prayers for your mom. ♥
I like your lighthouses. I bet there's a good trip and memory behind each one. :-) That's quite a storm outside your window! Right about now I'd guess that Pastor Leatherman and Kathy would like to be back in NZ!

Man you have had the snow. Your lighthouse collection is charming. I love visiting lighthouses.
Well I'm not very brave about being out in the snow driving so I'm glad when we have mild winters like this year. It isn't always the case though.
Wow, that is a lot of snow.
Glad to hear that your pastor and his wife have safely returned from NZ. I'll bet they have some great pictures to share.
You have a lovely collection of lighthouses.
I will continue to pray for your mom. I had hoped she was feeling better by now. I hope that they are able to figure out what needs to be done to have her feeling good again.
