Lunch time came around and it was still raining. After lunch it was just about stopped so I finally left on my walk. It was 42 degrees and a mist was falling and then it rained for a little bit and then it finally stopped altogether but not before and I got a little wet. But still it was nice to be outside and I walked the farm loop and around town. A few more cars around on the main road but on the farm road not a one.
These are on Farmer Bill's horses. I don't see them often because they are usually in another field.
I didn't look at my pedometer before I walked so don't know how far I walked but it was probably 5 miles or so. I cut it a little short.
A picture I took along the way.
I haven't done much of anything today. Well it is just afternoon - still time to do something productive. : )
Hope your day is a happy one.

I really like those photos! The horses are quite beautiful!
I am glad you got to get your walk in.
We have had lots of blue skies today, though the forecast for later is quite puzzling. With today's high int he mid-fifties, how can there be snow on the ground in the morning?!?
I so love a nice rainy day. Enjoy your evening.
Glad you finally got to walk. We had that almost-all-day rain yesterday. Today was absolutely gorgeous. Even the birds were singing today!!! BUT--the cold and snow come back tomorrow!
Love that Dickens quote.

I agree with Karen, you take beautiful pictures!!!:-)
Glad to hear you were able to get out for your walk. The photos are all so nice, especially Farmer Bill's horses.
I know I've said this before but I've always loved a rainy walk. I actually love a rainy walk more than a sunny one!!!
We have had several rainy days in GA also....like the pics you took
