Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Home again today

Not quite so cool as yesterday morning.  It was 45 degrees and no wind.  A beautiful morning for walking.  The sky looked like it was on fire this morning.  Don't usually see sunrises because most mornings seems to start out foggy.

I had a random walk all around town.  Walked up and down most all the streets in town and around the cemeteries.  I saw a couple of deer came running out of the corn field by the old Drane house and then run right back in when they saw me!!  A couple of rabbits were near there too.
Passed by the lone chicken and she seems to have stopped plucking out her feathers and she was eating pasta again.

There is a new little cafe about to open here in town next month and today the place was getting a new parking lot paved.  Another place we will be able to walk to!!

I walked 6.1 miles - 12,019 steps.

Ken finished siding the upper shed which we now are calling the Wood Shop.  He took these photos.  It looks beige but is actually a light gray.

Today he is up there putting electric in.  Then he can set up his saws and get organized with all his wood working tools.

I'm home again enjoying my day around the house.  Got more wash out on the line and now I'm all caught up.

Having chili for supper tonight.  No cooking involved because I just had to take it out of the freezer.  : )

Hope your day is a happy one and you smiled often.

I saw the exact same sunrise this morning. Wasn't it wonderful?? And I love that shed.

No sunrise here today. We have had rain all day.

That is a good looking shed! It is such a good thing that your husband is able to do such good work!

A new cafe in town is promising news. Hopefully the community will support it, and it will be successful.

Enjoy your evening.

A most beautiful sunrise to start your day with.
The wood shop turned out very nice.
I took meat out of my freezer this morning with chili in mind. I think it will be happening tomorrow. Hope you enjoy yours.

What a fabulous sunrise!

Ken's wood shop looks pretty good. Every guy needs one of those and/or a garage. :-)

I like your Mark Twain quote. I heard something very similar on a TV program this afternoon. Great minds think alike.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

A new café in town. They must have heard that you and Ken moved there! Hope it serves really good food.
The Mark Twain quote is so true. I think that's why you're so happy.
Very nice looking wood shop. Ken will have lots of fun building things in there.
The sunrise is amazing. I saw some beautiful colors in the sky, but your sky really does seem to be on fire. So glad you captured it. Mary Jo
