Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

More painting

I woke up this morning hearing rain on the roof so it was a rainy walk for me. Temperature was 60 so knew it would be too warm to wear my rain paints so just took my umbrella and off I went.  Well I did wear clothes. : )

I didn't see anyone out at all, just people in cars and trucks.

The top half of me stayed dried but the bottom half was pretty wet!!  I didn't mind though, as you know I like walking in the rain.  The rain falling in the corn makes a great sound.  I held my umbrella away from me for a bit just so I could listen to it.
Even the animals were nowhere to be seen except for a bull who was in the field munching on some grass like it was a sunny day.  Perhaps he too likes to be out in the rain. : )

I walked 6.5 miles - 12,616 steps.
I found a dime.

We never got any calls from anyone to buy our trailer so Ken put it on ebay.  If you would care to watch along with us to see if it goes, you can go to ebay.com and type in the number 231036712252 in the search at the top of the page.

Spent more hours today painting the bathroom.  I put 3 coats on it and used up a whole gallon of paint.  Around the edges could use a little touch up but for the most part is done.  Thank goodness.  It wasn't so bad today because I could see it finished.  I'll probably do the touch up later tonight.  Ken will then install the new lights and I want to get a new towel rack and TP holder.  I can use my blue and white shower curtain from the old house.   I am pleased with the yellow color and it makes for a much brighter room.

I'm thinking the spare room will be a lot easier to paint.  Though it is a bigger room there aren't all those edges to paint like the bathroom.  Besides, Ken is going to help with that one.

Looks like I won't be having fun on the riding mower today - too wet!!

Reading sounds like a good idea.
Hope this Friday finds you smiling often.

The camper is so pretty that I wish I had the money!

You are a dynamo! Already having the bath painted. Glad that it is now a brighter, cheerier space. It will be good to have Ken's help on the bedroom. Perhaps we'll get to see some pics.

It's funny that you mentioned rain falling on corn. I vividly remember that sound while growing up on my papaw's farm :)

Three cheers for having the bathroom paint job finished. I'll bet it looks nice and sunny on this rainy day.

I"m glad you have completed that painting project. Will you post a picture after you have the shower curtain and all the details in place?

I hope you are enjoying your afternoon reading.

A walk in the rain sounds so nice. Good luck with selling the trailer. We used to sell a lot of stuff on ebay a few years back and made enough to pay for my oldest son's braces (this was about ten years ago). We never sold anything as big as a trailer so I hope you have some good luck with it! Enjoy your weekend and enjoy the new paint!

Hello :)
I like walking in the rain too. I wish we had rain today - a little too warm here today. Good luck with the painting :) My bathroom needs some painting too, but I am not ready for a project like that right now. Happy Sunday to you.

I like walks in the rain too if I can get dry later. But I don't like my glasses misting over. Good idea to wear clothes! LOL!
