We packed up the rest of our things, loaded up the truck with one last load and walked around the house for one last time.
Ken drove the truck and I drove my car. I had a passenger with me to keep my company. Meet Sandy. : )
I led the way and Ken followed me like last time. We hit a few pockets of rain but they didn't last long. More traffic than usual and through Cumberland there was only one lane open due to road work caused about a half hour delay. Ken took this picture of me in front of him.
Here I am driving into town.
The trailer looked like a hoarder house at first with things all over every where, but we managed to get things put away somewhere and in some kind of order and it's good enough for a couple of weeks.
We were both exhausted and slept later than usual in the morning. Woke up to rain and I didn't know where my umbrella was so decided to skip my walk. I had way over 20,000 steps from yesterday so wasn't too worried about walking.
It's been raining all day so we sat around the trailer reading in the morning. After lunch we went to the library and got our library cards and checked out a few things. I'll write more about the library at another time.
Walked around Walmart just for something to do and now here we sit at McDonalds. before heading back to the trailer for supper and a night of reading and watching a DVD.
We are really glad and happy to be here.
Till next time..........

Hooray for arriving!! Sandy looks comfortable :-)
Glad to hear that you arrived safely and all of your things are packed away awaiting the move into the new house. Your new house looks just beautiful.
I am so excited for you!! Thank you for taking us with you on your new "adventure"! Not sure I asked before ....what is the town you are living in now?
This sounds so exciting!
Hi Karen - glad you arrived safely! I love the picturesque setting you are moving to...maybe that big white church on the outskirts of town will be your new church home :-)
You are like us - one of the first places we check out in a new town is the library! Enjoy your weekend.
P.S. I finally found the "follow gadget" for my new blog so you can now come and visit and follow me again. Hope to see you soon!
Ok good. Sounds like it all worked as planned. YOU have a Vet? No wonder you are a Happyone. Now you'll need to get a new stylist remember? I hope you have great luck like I did!
Hooray!!!
This part of the move, is accomplished.
Happy Trailer Living, for the small mean-time.
Hugs,
"Auntie"
I was so happy to see a post from you. You're there. Enjoy. Rest and relax. Go to Swallow Falls and take in the beauty of both falls. I can't wait to see pictures from your new town. Say hi to Ken for me. Miss you!
Oh good! I'm glad that you provided an update! Cute little traveling companion, too. Not as good as Ken, but nice and quiet. ; D
I wondered where you'd put the car...sounds like a good place. Camping for two weeks will be almost a piece of cake. Are you going to do some exploring in your new corner?
I am glad to learn that you arrived safe and sound. Glad your passenger wore his or her seatbelt. Safety first! Enjoy your new adventure.
Sandy looks cute....nice looking church...town
I am so happy things have gone well for you! I look forward to hearing more about the library.
Glad you're there and settling in. I think your rainy day was a gift so you two could recuperate a bit from all your hard work. ;-)
