Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Finished the trusses

No morning walk because we left early for HT.  Unloaded the truck up near where we are building the upper shed.  We put out a tarp and put all the boxes on that and then covered them all with another tarp. Things should be fine there until tomorrow when we put them inside the shed.
We got the end trusses up and most of the bracing done.  Here's a picture of the work so far.
Tomorrow we will be working on the roof and when we finish that will get the front wall done.  We were going to put in a garage door but decided to have just a regular door.

It's been a beautiful sunny day here with a bit of a wind and the temperature was in the mid 70's.

Just a short post this evening.  It's already just about 8:00 and we still have to go to Lowe's for some building material for tomorrow.

Hope all is well in your part of the world.
Till tomorrow........

Nice weather for outside work. The shed is coming right along. Great idea about preparing food ahead and freezing it. Six weeks isn't that long a time, but it would be a long time to eat sandwiches or go out to eat every day.

A very nice shed you are building. I always enjoy doing projects with my dh, I hope the nice weather continues for you to finish. Thanks for coming by, I always enjoy your visits. I have been so busy I just have not had time to blog lately, and haven't taken the time to get back to walking either. When I come by to visit you I get so motivated to walk, thanks for the motivation.
Enjoy your day.

I love reading about all the progress. It is so amazing that your townhouse sold so quick and you are preparing to "rough" it for six weeks. At least you don't have to go back and forth between the two places until your new house is ready to move in. Kudos to you and Ken.
