I just have to make sure I eat a high fiber diet and drink plenty of water and I should be fine. The old thinking is that you can never have nuts and seeds, but my doctor said that isn't true. I can eat whatever I want to if I can tolerate it.
I found the pills so much better than having to drink stuff. There are a lot of pills to take but if you can take pills good this is the way to go.
I was craving a peanut butter and jelly sandwich so I had one when I got home. For some reason when I'm really hungry that is what I feel like eating.
Of course no walk for me this morning but I'll be out there tomorrow again.
Just hung around home this afternoon relaxing and doing a little reading and sewing some squares together.
We went out for supper to celebrate me being able to eat again and I picked Pazani's for pizza.
Stopped at Safeway and bought some ice cream because it was on sale but I'm still having cottage cheese with raisins for my snack.
Tonight we will be watching Case Histories from Netflix. It is a new series for us - hope it's good.
Didn't have any pictures for today so I took one of the living room and our television watching chairs. I sit on the left and Ken on the right.
Yesterday I took a picture of my dirty car parked at the mill but forgot to post it so here it is today. It is really a lot dirtier than the picture shows. I'm almost embarrassed to be driving around in it. I keep waiting for a nice warm day to wash it.
So that's it for today.
It's been a good day for me and hope you had a good day too.
Happyone : )

So glad that everything went well for you! Your living room looks so comfy! I love your car - even if it's dirty! What a nice ride. Enjoy your evening. Pizza sounds good!
I am so glad to hear that your procedure went well and that there are no other complications found.
Enjoy your evening! I have had cottage cheese with tomato, green peppers, green onion, and chopped celery, but I've never had it with raisins. It sounds like a tasty snack.
So glad it went well!!
Glad your colonoscopy went well... I have to eat 25 grams of fiber each day now (to stay regular) ---so I work hard at it.
One thing which has helped me is sprinkling wheat bran on my yogurt and/or cottage cheese. There are a couple of High Fiber Progresso soups if you like soup. One of my fav's is the the Three Bean Chili soup. Another is Chicken Tuscany... We also eat alot of fruit which gives me fiber (fresh oranges, apples, strawberries, raspberries, etc.).... You'll do fine --if you work at it.
Hugs,
Betsy
I am very happy to hear that it all went well for you!!
Glad everything went well for you today. Take care.
I'm so glad that all went well with your procedure. Hopefully you will only have to make a few dietary changes to get back to full health. Peter had a colonoscopy after a routine check and they removed symptomless pre-cancerous growth which would have malignant after a few years if left. So now he makes sure he has plenty of fibre in his diet. Oat bran is good for adding to cereals, flapjacks and bread.
I am glad it went well :)
I'm very happy to hear that all went well with your procedure. The best part is getting to eat whatever you're craving when it's over :).

Very glad that your procedure went well!! :
Hi Karen - I've been out of town and just finally having a few minutes to look at your blog. So I am glad you had the procedure and that it went well. I know it is not fun at all, having just had one myself two weeks ago yesterday! We are on the same schedule! LOL! I drank the awful, sickening liquid. Especially the batch drank at 2AM was awful! I actually blogged about colonoscopies a week or so ago, calling it "The Other Big C." We are so lucky to have these procedures available. They save many lives and much misery. I'm so glad that you are well. Art
