The picture is the path that leads away from the lake and called the bunny path. Oddly enough this morning I didn't even see one rabbit and I usually see lots of them. I did see two deer though.
Quite a few people out enjoying the early morning, but it was a pretty quiet morning.
I walked 6.3 miles.

Right after breakfast I took my car to have it tested at the Emissions Station. I had until Oct 10th to go but went early to get it over with. I don't know why I hate going because it always goes smoothly and I've never had a problem. There were 4 lines going and I was second in line and my car passed without a problem and I even had a nice friendly young guy test my car. We talked about Vettes and Camaros, he preferring Camaros over Vettes. What is he crazy!!! : ) He also likes automatics better!!! More craziness! How can you want a sports car and not a stick shift!! : )From there I headed on over to the commissary and picked up a few things there. I made a short list out again of just 20 items so I could go to the express line. A nice quick trip in and out and then back home. Put everything away and had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for my lunch. That is a favorite lunch of mine since I've been a little girl. Somethings you just never grow out of.
This afternoon I did some shredding. Ken went through a bunch of old papers which left plenty of shredding for me to do. I filled up a couple of bags but have left more for another day.
I just got a call from Ken saying he was going to be late tonight. I'll wait supper for him as I was just going to make meatloaf sandwiches from leftovers anyway.
Now I'm off to get a little reading done.
Hope your day went well and you have a pleasant evening. I'm already looking forward to my ice cream tonight!!

Nice to have that emissions test out of the way. You are a proud Vette owner :).
We still like PB&J's here too. I like creamy and he prefers crunchy. What about you?
Enjoy that ice cream.
I love peanut butter and jelly on toast! Yum!
Did the virtual tour of your house. It's lovely!!! I think it should sell quickly.
Emissions testing...good thing to have over and done with early. Another great day for walking...your lunch sounds terrific. I love a meatloaf sandwich with a thin sliver of onion and a bit of mayo. How do you eat yours?
I love your car! So glad it passed emissions. I am begind on commenting on posts but did look at your post yesterday and went to the link of your home's listing and took the virtual tour. I loved all those bookshelves in your family room/den. The home is lovely...bet it sells quickly. Enjoy the rest of your week.
I love PBJ sandwiches as well. Actually, I like to eat a 1/2 of one as a dessert when there is nothing sweet in the house. I feel like I am having something more healthy and satisfying than a sugar only dessert.
:-) Agree! What's a sports car, without stick shift?!? ,-))))
Gentle hugs,
"Auntie"
