Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunday

The Lord is my rock,
and my fortress,
and my deliverer;
my God,
my strength,
in whom I will trust;
my buckler,
and the horn of my salvation,
and my high tower.

~ Psalm 18:2

This morning my walk was hot, sticky, quiet and still.  Only a few people were out.  I left a little earlier than usual but it was already 72 degrees out.
No special route, just walked down a few streets and along a couple paths.
The adjustment of my stride was all the the Striiv needed and now it is accurate.
That makes me happy. : )
I walked 5.6 miles and took 11,183 steps so far today.

I'll be off to Sunday school and church in just a few minutes.  When I get back from church we are leaving to go up to our land.
The next time I'm on line I'll be sitting in the MacDonalds parking lot. : )

Have a blessed Sunday.
God loves you, and cares about you. : )

Read of the storms, down your way. Came to make sure, you are ok.

And you are.

Stay safe. Have a wonderful time, on your land.

Working on getting my STRIV with the correct stride setting. Goes to show...don`t believe everything you are told!

Good that you got the stride thing figured out. I could see you walking the extra miles just to be accurate and you're already walking a lot.

Have fun up on the property. Do you folks have a generator?

We just got home from being out of town for a few days and I heard on the news that Maryland had been hit pretty hard by the storms. I'm hoping that you are safe and sound and enjoying your time at your land.
The new pedometer sounds great.
