Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Day 4

One day is starting to run into another now with working and I can't remember what we did on what day.  Good thing I'm keeping track of it here!!

Forgot to mention yesterday that one of our neighbors stopped by to say hi.  He is retired and him and his wife have lived here since 2005. Haven't met the neighbor with the cows yet.
While we were in the grocery store last night we ran into the realtor who sold us our land! She told us to give her a call if we need anything.

Up and out early again today.  It was a mix of sun and clouds all day but colder than yesterday and still windy.  Ken doesn't seem to get cold but I was freezing at times.  I would then go in the cab of the truck, turn the heat on and get warm for a while.  I brought a book and read a bit and also my knitting and spent some time knitting too.  After all it was Tuesday and my knitting morning.  I thought of all my knitting friends as I sat there knitting in the truck. : )

The nail gun didn't work so great today and just wouldn't work at times so most of the nailing had to be done by hand so it was slower going.  It uses a fuel cell and doesn't work when the weather is too cold.  But by the end of the day we had all the walls up.  There is going to be a bump out which I said yesterday, and each end will have a garage door.  One side for Ken's tractor and one end for my ATV which I don't have yet.  There is also a regular pedestrian door on the left side.
This is what the shed looks like at the end of work today.

My leg is improving day by day and I can now walk WITHOUT limping and can get going at a pretty good pace.  I get a twinge at times and can't turn and twist fast on it yet.  I haven't tried doing a morning walk and will just wait until I get back home and will try walking again on Monday.

Had the usual lunch at the work site, home again to change at the end of the day and then out to Ledo's for supper.  A stop at Lowe's again for more nails and then back to the house for some relaxation.

That's it for today.
Till tomorrow......
Pleasant dreams.

Looking good!

We missed you at knitting yesterday. The group was smaller than normal, didn't count.

I love following you along on this adventure. You make it look easy! Will the shed 'sit' on the ground or on the supports? I'm fascinated by building.

I hope it's another good day. Good news about your leg getting better!
