and along some roads on sidewalks.
Two others were walking dogs and there was a bike rider too. I saw a dog walking all alone up the path, which I very rarely see. People around here take the leash law seriously and also are really good about picking up after their dogs, at least the people I see.
I walked off one of the main paths into the woods a bit along one of the deer trails. It wasn't very long before it dead ended at a little stream. I turned around and came back the same way and as I was just getting back on the path there were two deer walking along the paved path. We switched places and continued walking!
I walked 6.7 miles.
********************I went out this morning and did a couple of errands. When I got back home I realized I had forgotten to eat breakfast so I had some Cocoa Krispies at 11:30 for a late breakfast.
There are always a few chores to do around the house but instead of doing them I worked on the cross stitch. I worked on it until I got hungry and had a PB&J sandwich lunch at 2:00. Just a little left on the cross stitch so I worked on it until it was finished! : )
I like keeping the back as neat as I can. I don't know why because it doesn't really matter but that's just the way I am.
********************We were going to go out for pizza for supper yesterday but Ken ended up working late so we decided not to go and just ate at home. So it will be pizza tonight for supper. I've been looking forward to it all day.
Now I really must go and get a few things done before Ken gets home from work.
Hope all is well in your part of the world.
A smile from me to you.
The thing that is really hard,
and really amazing,
is giving up on being perfect
and beginning the work of becoming yourself.
