I walked my route which goes past the school and over to Gray Rock Rd and then through the path back towards home. I saw a few deer but this one turned around to take a look at me so I took her picture.
A very quiet Saturday morning. I only saw two others out today. My walking friend from where I used to live called me this morning and we walked and talked. She is out of town a lot and when she gets back calls me and we catch up our early morning walks.
I walked 6.3 miles.

Ken was out this morning and I had plenty I could be doing around the house. I was just going to read for a few minutes before I got started and ending up reading for a lot longer than that. I'm reading A Walk West by Peter Jenkins, the second of his walking books. After lunch we went out for a bit and now we're back home. Realized we forgot to stop and get ice cream so we will probably go out later again to pick up some. It's been a while since we had ice cream for our snack and I miss it.
Hope you're enjoying your Saturday.
A smile from me to you.

Oh I like the pink! It matches these sunrises so well. I'd say that the deer really did pose for you. What a sweet glance back. Makes me wonder how many deer are around me and I am unaware. You are the deer whisperer so you know!
Sounds like a pleasant day, although a bit of ice cream might make it even more pleasant :)
Don't think I ever read a "walking" book!!!
(Computer screen keeps going to black and we have to get a new cord later. No quote today. -sigh-)
