Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Title? None comes to mind.

A cool 44 degrees and cloudy skies which gave way to some sun later in the morning as i got back home.
I had a nice walk around the lake.  I took a couple of cough drops along with me to soothe my raw insides after a night of coughing.  I feel fine i just have this cough that i can't seem to get rid of.
Anyway, it was nice to be outside walking.  I saw a couple of deer along the upper path and they jumped off the path into the woods when they saw me.  A few rabbits were around too and the geese were their usual noisy selves.  I stopped to watch them from the footbridge down at the narrow end of the lake.  It is funny to watch them go upside down when they find something to eat in the water.  It always makes me smile. : )
A few of the regular walkers were out but it was really pretty quiet this morning.
BTW, I have never seen the mother and daughter walkers again except for that first time.   Maybe they are walking at a different time than i am.
It is quiet and soft on my feet as i walk along this path covered in pine needles.
I walked 6.4 miles.
Found a nickel in the cross walk.

I got a couple loads of laundry out on the line to dry this morning.  There was a bit of a wind and i had to keep going out on the deck to untangle them.  Thankfully none took off flying! The good thing is that they dried really fast.

Last night we picked up a couple flavors of ice cream.  I tried a new flavor.  Actually i read the label and it isn't even ice cream but something called Frozen Dairy Dessert.  If you like those malted milk ball candies you will like this.  I do and did.
I've been home again today.  I think i feel good but then i still get tired more easily than i should so i'm taking it easy once again.  AND i wish i could stop coughing!!!

I've gotten two of the scarves i'm knitting done now, blue and black and working on the red one today.

I'm off now to finish folding the clothes and then get back to my knitting.
A happy day to you.

When I first saw the first photo, I mistook the leaf for the moon. It's a beautiful photo both ways!

Feel better soon!

Oh I do hope that the mother/daughter team are still walking.

Beautiful picture.
It was nice here today, too. On a work break, I sat out on the back porch in 50 degrees and felt quite comfortable; no north wind today.

OK so I had a nervous finger. I'm sure you can delete one of my comments.

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better and I hope the cough doesn't hang around much longer.
The ice cream sounds good.
I did laundry all day today too. Feels good to have it done.
Enjoy your weekend and take care.

Beautiful fall pictures! The air looks so refreshing. I reside in Arizona and we are still in the high 90's. I can't wait to start walking outside again soon! Take Care.

I hope your cough goes away soon, it is so annoying when you can't stop coughing isn't it. The picture over the water is lovely, really nice colours.

Hall's Honey Menthol Cough Drops! For night time coughing! Remember I had Acute Bronchitis for 3 months, at beginning of year. I am an EXPERT on how to stop that nagging cough.

Really Hon, Hall's Menthol Cough Drops are wonnnnnnnnnnnderful. We use Honey. You might like a diff flavor.

First photo, so pretty!

Glad you are taking it kind of easy, and thus, listening to your body, though.

'Cause it is windy, and if I had to hop on my broom and fly down there, to "tsk, tsk, tsk" at you --- It might be a bumpy ride. And after a bumpy ride, who knows HOW grumpy I'd be when I got there!?!

The russet woods stood ripe to be stripped, but were yet full of leaf.
The purple of heath-bloom, faded but not withered, tinged the hills...
Fieldhead gardens bore the seal of gentle decay; ... its time of
flowers and even of fruit was over."

Wow, it was a windy Friday, I'm surprised you're still putting clothes on the line. Although, there is nothing better than fresh dried linen/cotton! If you don't lose the cough soon, maybe a trip to the doc, could be bronchitis? I've had that, it is a nasty cough that hangs on, antibiotics usually take care of it faster. Take it easy and have a great weekend!
