I saw just a few people and I didn't see much wildlife around either. Only heard the birds and saw a few rabbits. I found a dime in the parking lot by the liquor store and this corner of a dollar. It would have been nice to find the rest of it.
I came across a roll of caps which brought back a few memories for me. I had a cap gun when I was a kid and would use the caps in that but the most fun was just to roll the caps out on the sidewalk and hit each one with a rock. So this morning when I got home I sat out in the back on the driveway, got a rock and set off the caps.
It brought my neighbors out on their deck across the way to see what the noise was. When they realized it was me they just smiled, waved and went back inside. I didn't even realized you could still buy caps.
I walked 6.4 miles.

Met my knitting friends outside in the courtyard of Kings Contrivance for a couple hours of knitting. A small group today, only nine of us but the weather was perfect for sitting outside and we all enjoyed our time together. We jump from subject to subject and we never know what will come up next. Makes for a fun and interesting time. : )I knitted on a variegated blue dish cloth which is about half done. This is for myself. The ones I have are starting to wear out so I'm knitting a few more.
Another old photo of me that I came across is my senior picture from high school. I was only 18 here and that was many years ago!! It is hard to believe that so many years have gone by.
Well that's it for today.
Till next time........
I hope you enjoyed your day and you found time for some fun.

What a great picture of a very pretty gal! Not THAT long ago either. Can you imagine the conversation your neighbors had about you after they found you setting off caps with a rock? ROFL! I know what I'd be saying if I caught you at it. Hahahhahhahaha... You're a nut! That's what I love about you. What lovely, low-humidity days...great for walking.
Fun is where you find it!
Love the "that girl" hair style.
Caps, I remember them! My brother played with them more than I did. I agree with Vee, I can hear your neighbors talking about the nut next door who was setting of caps. Your senior picture is beautiful, you still look the same, just more mature. Love the quote!
Your knitting group sounds like my book club. We talk, talk, talk. You still look so much like the 18-year old in the picture!
I had a flip in my senior photo, too! Great smile!
Love the picture. Very cute!
I've always liked that HS senior pic.
That's so funny about you and the caps, and
coincidentally the kids were just playing with caps,
Kim found them at a dollar store. First time for the kids.
Love ya mom.
-grin- That's so cute! You came home and set off caps! :-)
Ahhhhhh, the torn off corner of a dollar bill... Betcha' that could tell-a-tale, if it could talk. Must have been done on-purpose. But for what purpose? Who was supposed to get a message, from the dollar with the corner torn off??????
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Did you ever want to write a mystery novel? There's an opening idea. :-)
Ahhhhhhhhh the hair, of certain periods. But you had such lovely thick hair!<--Said with *green eyes.* -grin-

Oh my goodness - LOVED the smell of caps growing up! How fun!
I haven't thought about caps since I was a kid. What a fun memory. I remember hitting them with rocks too.
Your senior picture is beautiful. I love your hairdo. It reminds me of Marlo Thomas in "That Girl". My very favorite show as a young girl.
