The new sidewalk and the dock seem to have become the hangout for the geese. I had to walk extra careful here to dodge what they left behind!
Someone stopped at the cross walk to let me cross the street and as I've said before that doesn't happen very often. I notice though when someone does stop nine out of ten times it will be a man.
I found a penny. : )
A great morning to be out walking.

It was sunny most of the day but late afternoon and early evening the rain came down in buckets, then cleared up again. I planned to get a whole lot of housework done but only managed to get a load of wash hung out on the line and cleaned one bathroom. Then I lugged a chair up two flights of stairs to my loft. That's it for the work. I just couldn't get in the cleaning mood. I did a whole lot of nothing, though I did enjoy my day. At one point in the day I was actually out on the deck blowing bubbles! : )
We used to be members of BJ's but let our membership expire a few years ago. Tonight we went to BJ's and joined again. We can get some things cheaper there than the commissary. Besides it's just fun to walk around there and I always find something I need!
We have an episode of Lark Rise to Candleford to watch tonight. We are on the third season. Believe it or not, but I'm not feeling like having ice cream so I'll have some shortbread cookies. Ken bought some from a woman at work who was selling them for a fund raiser.
That's it for today.
Hope your Monday was a happy day for you.
Happyone : )

The sidewalks with the geese droppings is just awful! Pretty wildlife, but they make a mess.
Do you know it didn't rain a drop my way today? Isn't that strange? And I did enough housework for the two of us :)
We got showers on and off today, thunder and lightening tonight. Tomorrow, it is suppose to pour, may be my whole lot of nothing day. I can almost see our grass growing a foot a day (I'm exaggerating :) It was definitely humid that's for sure. My, those must be large geese!
Now this is just getting scary. We reupped our BJ's membership Saturday night. It's up $10 in one year. Yikes. We can't beat a lot of the baking needs prices elsewhere, flour, sugar, vanilla, walnuts nor Tide, nor kitty litter. We all have our favorites, I'm sure. Kitty litter is not a favorite, mind you, it's a necessity.
We have a cowbird making a comic of himself up and down the railing of the deck. He's duking it out with himself in that mirror we hung on the garage wall.
Blowing bubbles outside sounds perfectly lovely...
Lots of birds on your walk. I like to feed the birds. We have so many now. They are here bright and early every morning waiting for me to toss them something to eat. I can't put it in a feeder because the squirrels eat on it all day and that is to much. We have a Sams club warehouse. I bet it is like BJ's. I like to walk around and look too . And eat there free samples. LOL!
We're getting the rain here this week too. It's supposed to be a rainy week. My newly planted flowers are enjoying it.
We have a BJs close to us. My husband buys all of the coffee and cleaning supplies for his office there.
I do like the idea of bubble blowing. I think I might have some in the garage. I'll have to check and get out there between raindrops.
Hi There, I haven't heard of BJ's --but it must be like Sam's or Costco... We belong to Sam's and love it.
Sometimes it is good just to have a "Do Nothing" day....
Hugs,
Betsy
I loved this post... "a whole lot of nothing," because I enjoy days like this they are so few and far between.
Always a treat to visit.
Sue
wow fantastic this post and great story share in the post. cool your idea and interesting info posting. thanks
We let our BJ's membership expire also as we really prefer Costco -- much cleaner -- not everything is in humongous sizes and more name brands -- including OTC drugs.
LOVE "Lark Rising to Candleford"!!!
