Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The sun returns on a sunny Sunday

It was 35 degrees when I started walking this morning and 43 degrees when I got back home.  Didn't walk on any particular route today.  I walked mostly on sidewalks along the road but when I passed a path it looked so inviting, I walked down there too.  It was great to be walking in sunshine again.  Very few people out - just a couple  people walking dogs.  I spotted four deer in the woods and heard lots of birds singing.  It was one of those days when I could have walked all day but I made myself go home after 7.1 miles.
Found my first coins of the month - one dime and four pennies.
Sunrise 6:49
Sunset 7:33

2 Samuel 22:29
O Lord, you are my light!
You make my darkness bright.

Have restful and blessed Sunday.
Remember God loves you and wants you to be happy.
Happyone : )
God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.

Now that is a nice thought from Augustine. I believe it, but don't always "feel" it. Good thing that this faith is not about feelings.

Seven miles this morning...it must be the spring air that puts a spring in your step.

Hoping that we'll hear about your Saturday...perhaps tomorrow?

We were out too. Walking 3dogs and picking up poop. Does that count? :-)

It was a beautiful sunny day here also (still is, 6:43 p.m.)The high on my back porch was 61 degrees.
Everybody felt better, and the singing at church was great!

I felt a breeze and the sun was in and out here. I should have gotten out, but didn't. I did get some pictures posted of the progress Spring has taken on my yard, which thrills me. Wow, 14 cents you are off to a good start for April! I too look forward to hearing more of your Saturday trip to Pennsylvania. Hope your Sunday was peaceful.

Ahh God's sweet gifts and mysteries in nature. So awesome, so awe inspiring, and just so humbling, fills me with gratitude and wonderment.
