The temperature stayed above freezing all night and this morning when I walked it was a mild 42 degrees. Perfect weather for walking. I only had to wear two long sleeved tee shirts and a hooded sweatshirt. I headed out to the lake thinking that all the ice would have melted. Well, surprise surprise, that was not the case. The first half of the lake I walked was pretty good and I could easily get around the ice. As a few people passed me going in the opposite direction they all told me how bad it was on the other side. Barb recommended that I take the upper path and get on the park road until I get to the work station and then get back on the path. So I took her advice and went that way.
I walked along the road here.
And came out here where I went to the right and headed back home. Usually I come from the left to right here.I think tomorrow I will stay away from the lake and stick to the sidewalks and street.
I walked 6.4 miles.

There's a Mt. Airy in your neck of the woods? :-)
Wasn't there a Mt. Airy, connected with Andy Griffith?

It looks like a great day there. It's sunny in Denver, too, so I'm heading out. Happy Valentine's Day.
