Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

At Peace With God

Happy Sunday to you!
I got a tiny little book from church that is called My Book of Bible Promises.
For the next bunch of Sundays I will be posting verses from this little book.

Romans 5:1
Therefore, having been justified by faith,
we have peace with God
through our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was surprised to find the temperature this morning at a warm 51 degrees!!  Nice walking without all those layers on for a change and being able to wear a ball cap.  I did put my hood on my sweatshirt up when a mile from home it started to drizzle.  The drizzle was very light but I didn't want to get frizzy hair!
I only saw one other person out and he was riding a bike.
All those deer from yesterday were no where to be seen.
I walked along the street on no particular route.  I found a dime over by the liquor store.
The temperature was down to 45 degrees by the time I got home.  I hope it doesn't go too much lower during the day.
I walked 6 miles.

May you have peace in your heart.
Have a blessed Sunday.
I'm off to get ready for church.  No playing hooky this week. :-)
Happyone :-)

Your new little book is so cute and the perfect size to tuck in a purse or pocket.
It has been very mild here this weekend which is nice, except a bit gloomy as it is foggy. The sun is supposed to come out this afternoon. Last time I took a walk I found a quarter and thought of you :).
Have a great Sunday and Happy New Year too.

That book is really cute. I like it. We went to get some pantry items today and boy! it was cold outside. I felt warmer even in the air conditioned supermarket, the temperature outside was something

Temps are really dropping here to! We were in mid 40s when I got up - we are now in mid 30s. I was hoping Spring was going to come early ;)

Lovely to have a little book of big promises. Something's different in here...you've been redecorating. The mild temps run up and down the East Coast I guess as the snow is nearly gone after a day of mists and mild temps here.

here it´s cloudy and windy. It would be wonderful to have some rains, we need them!!
Yesterday, sunday, I had a nice walking, early at 7a.m before heat, there was a pleasant breeze.
Today I have some errands to do and then knitting and writing my blog.
Holidays are just round the corner. On saturday we are leaving for the beach!!!!
Happy new year for you too!!!!
