Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Prayer

Giving Thanks Day Number 7
I am thankful that God hears and answers all my prayers.
I am thankful that He has not always answered my prayers in the way I wanted!
Sometimes it feels like He doesn't answer prayers but then after some time has passed I realized that He did answer them after all.
He knew what was better for me than I did.
I may not understand why He answers them the way He does at times.
But I do know that things work out the way they should.
I am thankful that I have faith to know this.
Thanks God for always listening to me! :-)

A good time at the auction yesterday.  We got there early, picked out our seats, saved them with our coats and then walked around looking at all the items for sale.
Can you spot the FiestaWare on the shelf over there?
I am happy to say that I bid on and got two pieces of the FiestaWare.
The Deep Dish Bowl (soup) and the little Juice Cup.
They both are in perfect condition.  The green plate wasn't the size I needed.  I need a 10 inch and it was the smaller plate which I already have. I now have all 6 original colors of the bowls and cups. :-)  There were three auctions going on in the same building so it was a bit noisy.  Ken usually does the bidding for me, but this time I had my own card and did it on my own and it was so much fun. :-)  Ken got a really nice B&O train lantern which he will sell at the train show he is going to at the end of the month.  He also got two lamps.  He just can't pass up something that is going for $1. He now has lamps to go with those two chairs from the other auction. :-)  The lamps are in perfect shape, just not our style.
Supper last night was hot dogs and ice cream sandwiches right at the auction so we didn't get to eat the potato soup yet.  That will be dinner tonight.

Walked 6 miles this morning along the paths in daylight!
Now, I'm off to have some breakfast, and then get ready and go to church.

Enjoy your Sunday.
Happyone :-)

Sometimes we don`t understand why God makes things happen in a way that doesn`t seem the right way for us - but the good thing is : we don`t have to understand everything.
I wonder how your church looks like? Maybe you will post a photo some day.

I love Fiesta also. My daughter has it in several colors and I love washing dishes at her house.
Have a nice day,
Jeanne
