Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A beautiful day

Quite cool this morning as I started out on my walk.  Only 46 degrees but it was a beautiful morning once the sun came up.  The air was crisp and cool and it really felt like Fall.  These kind of mornings are my favorite ones for walking!!  I walked the connect the path route and then some.  It was just so nice I wanted to keep walking.  Ended up walking 7.3 miles.  Along one path I saw a family of deer - mom, dad and two babies.  On another path I saw a mom and two babies.  Not many people out but then I don't see as many along the paths as around the lake.  The picture is one of the paths I walked along.

The golf lesson went well yesterday.  We did a little more putting, learned how to hit balls out of the sand trap, and practiced at the driving range.  The hour flies by.  Of the three of us taking the lessons, I am doing the worst but I'm having fun and Patrick is still very patient with me! :-)  I still haven't taken any pictures but I will try to take some by the end of the lessons.  Only 2 more to go.  Then it will just be lots of practicing.  It is really helpful having the lessons.  At least I know what I'm doing wrong!

After golf we went out to eat and right next door was a golf store so we went in and looked around after we ate.  I'd never been in a store that was entirely golf stuff.  What a fun time just walking around and looking at all the little extras!!  I've picked out a nice beginners woman's golf bag and clubs in a nice pink color!!  I'm thinking a very nice Christmas present perhaps!! :-)

I've just about used up the picture space on blogger with 98% used up.  I thought about not blogging, (for a few seconds) then thought about starting a new one but then just decided to buy more space.  It is very cheap - only $5 a year.  So I did that yesterday.

Tuesday has rolled around once again so off to knitting I went this morning.  Enjoyed my time as usual talking and knitting with friends.

I'm in the middle of ironing now and just took a break to post this blog and read a few more blogs.  Back to ironing now.

Have a happy Tuesday.
Happyone :-)

Glad you didn't give up the blog. I guess they'll let me know when I run out of space.

This morning was cool, wasn't it?

I'll let you know when I made the brownies!

I like to see the sunlight in this photo. I am thinking just the same as you about photographing:" You see the world in a different way and notice things that you normally would not see!"
I am glad you didn`t give up the blog too :)
I have most on my photos at flickr and use the html code from flickr to put it in to my blog. Then I hope to not use all my picture space on blogger, but I am not sure if I am thinking right about it.

I can't believe I haven't run out of space yet because I post so many photos! I dread hearing that the space is gone...(Though certainly $5 seems pretty reasonable!) I've seen a doe with twins, too. Your days are cooling quickly. I'm in Denver, and today it was 51 when I started my run.

Good to know about being able to buy more space. I am guessing I am still pretty far away from that. And if you had decided to stop blogging, I would have given you grief every time I saw you. You would not be Happy One if you stopped blogging 'cause I would have made you miserable with my nagging :-).

To all Happy One's readers: I won't let that happen. Promise.

Phew! Glad that you didn't consider giving up blogging for long. Five dollars is very reasonable! Good to know. Where does one learn how much has been used? I used to know, but then I switched to the new editor and that seemed to change things. Are you supposed to be getting an Indian summer day tomorrow? Our temps are going back up to 80°!

I had no idea that you could even run out of photo space!!!
Don't even think of quitting for a minute!!! You'd be missed!
We had two does at the edge of our woods yesterday! So beautiful--I told hubby "don't even think about shooting them!!! It's almost hunting season!

You scared me there for a minute, Karen. I'm glad you made the decision to stick with your blog. I think the $5 seems reasonable and easier than starting over again. I hope you continue to blog for a long, long time. It's good to know that Retired Knitter will be there to keep you blogging. :)
