Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The Famous Cake

As promised here is a picture of the birthday cake that Ken made for me.We had a piece of it for breakfast before going to church.
I can't even begin to tell you how good it was!!!I was also surprised with this present from Ken.Thanks a bunch Kenny!! :-)

This evening we are meeting with Cheryl and Rob and will have dinner at LeeLynn's.
Then home here to have some cake for dessert.

Have happy day all.
Happyone :-)

Edit: Cheryl and Rob couldn't make it after all. So Ken and I went to Red Lobster and took along the gift certificate that my parents gave me and the $20 that I found and had a free dinner.
We will be having another piece of that delicious cake later on.

I was just popping in to get caught up with you and am now so glad I did so that I could wish you a Happy, Happy Birthday. A special lady like you deserves much happiness on her birthday and I can tell that Ken is making that happen for you today. Wow, that cake looks amazing and extra special because he made it himself. The cross is beautiful.
Congratulations on your recent find of $20. How exciting that must have been.
I think it is so cute what your Dad told you about the flags being out for your birthday. Just want you to know that I put two flags out this morning. Now when I see them I will think of you and this sweet story.

Well shoot! I missed saying happy birthday to a special friend on her day. Looks as if you and Kenny knew how to celebrate with or without your friends. That's a beautiful necklace, too. So let's call this a Happy Birthday week and keep the party going!
