Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Early morning

A chilly, still and sunny morning and perfect weather for a morning walk. I walked my usual 6 miles around the lake. Today the sun shone over it and steam was coming off the water. Made for a pretty picture!I saw a couple of deer, the groundhog again and a few rabbits. Plus the usual birds, ducks and geese. Lots of people out around the lake already this morning too. What a busy place so early in the morning. Everyone seemed to be happy as well. :-)
The other day I passed a woman who I've stopped to chat with a few times and thought I remembered her name and said
Good Morning, Charlene?
She said No, Joanne, Good Morning, Debbie?
I said No, Karen and we both laughed.
We passed by each other this morning and we both got the names right which caused us to laugh again. I don't think I'll forget her name anymore.
Another woman was walking two poodles, a white one and a black one. They both had little knitted sweaters on that she had made and were so cute!
Such a beautiful morning for walking.
Now to get on with the rest of my day.
Lets make this a good one.
Happyone :-)

Good morning Dear Karen,

That scene must have been something. Funny. And the picture is beautiful. Thursday is almost over here... you have a great day ahead.

Your picture is just perfect with the mist rising from the lake. Morning walks are a great way to meet nice people.

What a difference a day makes! Loved the romance of the fog over the water, but a clear day is more cheering. Now don't forget Charlene/Joanne! LOL!

So funny about the names. I am so bad at names I try to stay away from calling someone by name . LOL!
