Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Just a quick post to show how much snow we got overnight. This is 7:30 this morning and the snow is supposed to continue all day!!
As you can see there is no way for me to walk.
The orange that you see by the telephone pole is a barrel in the road! No way can we get out of our street!!I'll be back later.

  1. That's a lot of snow! I certainly hope you don't get much more. I also hope you stay safe and don't lose your electricity.

  2. Sounds like a good day to stitch, or cook, or read, or play with the Wii! It is beautiful though.

    Have a Wonderful Saturday!!

  3. so pretty. Lots more than we have gotten. Stay warm.

  4. Oh my, better to stay in bed.

  5. You really got a lot of snow. We were all ready for snow but we did not get anything, not even one snowflake in North Jersey. Good day for you and Kenny to do your fireplace project.

  6. just looking at your pics makes me feel like I'm in chicago (oh, wait I am, and the sun is out and it's only 30degrees..but the snow isn'tnearly as pretty and fluffy..it's dirty old snow..want to share? shhhh..I didn't say that...lol..
    what a mess..

  7. Wow, that is a lot of snow. It looks so pretty in your pictures. The snow we got last Saturday is all gone now. We had rain all day yesterday.
    I hope you don't have to go anywhere for awhile. Looks like the kind of day to stay home and keep warm.
