Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Though the bed on the ship was pretty comfortable, it was so nice to get back to my own bed once again.
It was also nice to be able to make our own pancakes for breakfast.
I didn't stay home much today on my first full day back home. Ken picked me up from church and since we don't have much food in the house we had lunch out.
After lunch we went to the movies to see Avatar. We saw it in Extreme HD, 3D, surround sound and wow what a great movie!! It felt like you were right there in the movie and I found myself reaching out to touch things that seemed right in front of me. If you go to see Avatar, seeing it in 3D is a must. 3D movies sure have come a long way since the day of the paper glasses with the red and green lenses. It's a long movie, just over 2 1/2 hours and it was excellent!! I loved it.
Here's a picture of me with my cool looking 3D glasses!! :-)We didn't get home till about 4:00. Ken ended up making us nachos for supper and later while we were watching television we had our snack of ice cream. It sure doesn't take long to get back in to our routine once again.

Remember this picture I posted of the windy day on ship with my lovely new hairdo?Well the next day while we were walking around a mall on St Maartens I took this photo of an advertisement. It seems I'm right in style!! :-)I'll be posting more cruise picture on my photo blog in the days to come.

I hope your Sunday was one of happiness and you have thanked God for your blessings today.

Sounds like it was a fun day and the perfect way to ease back into life after vacation.

I'd say you're ready for a modeling career! =D

You sure are right in style! Too cute. Glad that you had such a fun first day home. I can see that you're not quite ready to settle into January nesting.

Wow, the 3D glasses really have changed from what I remember.
That is so funny about the hair pictures. And, speaking of hair ~ did you get your hair cut? It looks cute.

That hair shot was a favorite of mine!!!

I heard that Avatar was good. We don't see movies very often but I might try that one. WE did see Sherlock Holmes over the holidays. That was the first movie we'd been to in about a year :)

Yes Kim, I did have a hair trim. Ken trimmed it for me on the ship.

It's too bad you couldn't have brought some of that warm weather home with you. But it's good to have you back. I haven't seen Avatar yet.

I think the Weather Channel would love your hair photo! And it IS wonderful to sleep in our own beds, isn't it?
