Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Luke

Luke 2:16-20

They ran to the village and found their way to Mary and Joseph.
And there was the baby, lying in the manger.

The shepherds told everyone what had happened
and what the angel had said to them about this child.

All who heard the shepherds story expressed astonishment,

But Mary quietly treasured these things in her heart
and often thought about them.

Then the shepherds went back again to their fields and flocks,
praising God for the visit of the angels,
and because they had seen the child,
just as the angel had told them.

May you have a blessed Sunday.
The snow has stopped and the sun is shining once again. We are off in just a bit to take a ride and see the sights the snow has made.
Happyone :-)

Two feet of snow?! I know that you will turn it into happy times. Just had to zip over here once you told me that you're leaving tomorrow to be sure to wish you and Ken a wonderful time on your cruise. You should have seen John's face when I told him your news...all beams. Have a blast today, tomorrow, and always.

Wow, you sure did get a lot of snow. It looks like you picked the right time to go on a cruise. Hopefully the snow will be melted by the time you return.
Have a wonderful trip and I look forward to reading all about it soon.
