Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

Luke

Luke 2:16-20

They ran to the village and found their way to Mary and Joseph.
And there was the baby, lying in the manger.

The shepherds told everyone what had happened
and what the angel had said to them about this child.

All who heard the shepherds story expressed astonishment,

But Mary quietly treasured these things in her heart
and often thought about them.

Then the shepherds went back again to their fields and flocks,
praising God for the visit of the angels,
and because they had seen the child,
just as the angel had told them.

May you have a blessed Sunday.
The snow has stopped and the sun is shining once again. We are off in just a bit to take a ride and see the sights the snow has made.
Happyone :-)

  1. Two feet of snow?! I know that you will turn it into happy times. Just had to zip over here once you told me that you're leaving tomorrow to be sure to wish you and Ken a wonderful time on your cruise. You should have seen John's face when I told him your news...all beams. Have a blast today, tomorrow, and always.
