Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Isaiah

I just got back from a rainy 6 mile morning walk. I woke up 6:45 old time so was out the door walking at 6:00 new time. I saw NO ONE out walking at all and only a few cars. I guess everyone was taking advantage of the time change and was sleeping in.

Isaiah 40:29 - 31 He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youth grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
If you seek God with all your heart, He will give you strength and make your path ahead clear for you. Have a blessed Sunday. Karen :-)

I enjoyed the pictures. Amazing! The colors of fall are hard to beat.

It is wet and drizzly here as well. Not prime conditions for a walk.

Hope you have a safe and blessed Sunday.

I will admit that I took advantage of the extra hour's sleep. But I'm glad you got out and had a good walk.

I went for an early morning walk as well yesterday...while others seemed to be sleeping.

Great fall colours in the previous post!
