Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself;
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today.
I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.
~Groucho Marx

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Happy Sunday!

I Corinthians 13:4-8
New King James translation

Love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy;
love does not parade itself,
is not puffed up.

Does not behave rudely,
does not seek its own,
is not provoked,
thinks no evil.

Does not rejoice in iniquity,
but rejoices in the truth.

Bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.

Love never fails.

Have a blessed Sunday.
Tell the people you love how much they mean to you. :-)

  5. Hello Karen, I am new to your blog and I have enjoyed meeting you. Kim showed the beautiful afghan you made for her on her blog today. It was such a nice thing for you to do. I love to knit also and was wondering what yarn you used for that afghan. Thanks. Twyla

  6. T&L - Thanks for stopping by. I used cotton yarn on Kim's afghan. It is called Peaches and Cream and I buy the cones that are used for knitting machines. Its much cheaper buying the cones. I buy them at Walmart.
