Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A cloudy day

with a few peeks of the sun and a drizzle or two also. I walked around the neighborhoods on the paths and some of the streets. My friend Lin called while she was walking too and so we walked together and talked even though we weren't together.
I think I had a senior moment. While I was talking on my cell phone to Lin, I looked down at my cell phone case clipped to my waist and saw that my phone wasn't there and for a second thought I'd lost it!! Then realized I was talking on it. :-)
Though most of the trees are still have their green leaves, some are already changing color on this first day of Fall.

I went out and about this morning to get a few errands done.
One of which was to go to Barnes and Nobles to buy a new Bible.
Pretty colorful isn't it?
I got the larger print version.
My new church uses the New King James version and though I have a few different translations that is the one I didn't have and wanted to have the same translation that they use.

I got the ripple afghan all boxed up and ready for the mail. I'll be going to the post office tomorrow and mailing it out to Kim.

I made tuna casserole for my supper tonight. Haven't made that in quite a while and it was quite tasty.

I don't usually watch network television but there's a new show on tonight that sounded good so I'm going to give it a try. It's called The Good Wife. It's not on until 10:00 so till then, I'm going to watch another episode of Mad Men from Netflix and then read.

I hope your Tuesday was a good one.
Karen :-)

First day of fall! Love it!

My senior moment is normally when I look all over for my glasses and realize they are on my face.

By the way, your knitting work is beautiful. You are so talented.

Have a nice evening, what is left of it, and enjoy the day tomorrow. Art

That programme "The Good Wife" sounds good, wish I could see it here.

I was laughing with you at your "senior moment". I can relate to that as I have had those moments too. Your new bible is pretty. I haven't seen one that colorful before.
How did you like the Good Wife?
Your quote today is a good one. I try to remind myself of that when I am feeling overwhelmed.
Happy Fall to you.

I love the little quotes at the ends of your posts. Do you have a quote book? I like them short and sweet.

I DVR's The Good Wife. What did you think? You're really something watching network TV in real time :))

We don't have that much red in our trees yet, but we probably soon will have. We watched "The Good Wife" last night and thought it was quite good. The only problem is that if we think a program is good it usually gets canceled!
You're much too young to have a 'senior moment'!

That was funny about your cell phone! You are a busy lady.
