Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

More puzzles

Sunday we did another jigsaw puzzle. This one was only 500 pieces so we got it done in no time at all.
We've done this one a few times already.

I'm going to start another one later today! It seems once I do one puzzle I end up doing a whole bunch of them. Then I get sick of them and don't do another one for ages, sometimes years. It does seem strange doing them in the summer though, it's usually a winter thing to do.

Except for my walk yesterday I stayed home the whole day and got some much needed cleaning done. It was the first day back to work for Ken after being off for two weeks so I had a lot to do. I'll continue with my cleaning of the upstairs today so it will be another day at home.

Our daughter Debbi, came over the house yesterday at supper time and we went across the street and got some Chinese take away for supper. We had a nice visit and ended up sitting out on the deck until about 8:00 when she went home.

It was already hot and sticky this morning at 6:30 when I left on my walk. I took this picture this morning walking around the lake. It looks like there was a fight here with all these feathers on the ground.

Well off I go to get started on that cleaning, but first I'm going to go and find the next puzzle to do. :-)

Enjoy your Tuesday.
Happyone :-)
We use duct tape to fix everything.
God used nails.

I admire your patience when it comes to putting jigsaw puzzles together. I much prefer reading. I'm glad I don't know what happened along your walking path!

It is a bit sticky out there today. I do the same thing with crossword puzzles: I do a bunch, and then none for a while.
I wonder what was involved in THAT fight and who won??? Gruesome.

I just figured that it was hot and humid out and that's why you were busy with the puzzles.

Hope that Ken had a good day back to work...that first one after a vacation can be hard to take.

I had to enlarge your picture to get a better look at all the feathers. Amazing. I wonder if a hawk was involved?

I never do puzzles. Too frustrating for me :)

That looks like it was a fun puzzle. I am going to have to start up that hobby again. That was an annual thing to do at holiday time when I was a child. Mom always had a puzzle on a card table.

That was quite a feast that some predator enjoyed.

I keep meaning to say - I enjoy your quotes/thoughts at the end of your posts. :)

I should have been out there walking with you this morning...while it is still bearable.
