My day started with a nice, sunny, cool walk down my connect the path route. Only saw a few people out walking and a couple riding their bikes down a path.
I gave the little downstairs bathroom another coat of paint this morning. Later when the paint was dry, I peeled off the blue painters tape. (which was fun!) Then I gave the whole bathroom a good cleaning before putting everything back together and moving everything back in. Boy there sure is a lot of stuff in just one little bathroom!! I am pleased with how it turned out. The color is darker than it looks in the picture. It was hard to take a picture of such a tiny room.
I finished reading three more books of the cat series by Lilian Jackson Braun.
The Cat Who Saw Red
The Cat Who Played Brahms
The Cat Who Played Post Office
All three were in one book. They are a bit silly but fun to read.
This makes 32 books I've read this year so far as June comes to an end and I'm at the half way point. I have a LibrayThing Challenge to read 75 books this year. Doesn't look like I'm going to make it. I'll only have 64 if I keep on going the way I am. Well I guess that's why they call it a challenge. :-) I have a running total of all the books I've read so far on the side bar of this blog.
I was all set to go to the Fabian House in Bowie, where they sell the Polish pottery and decided to check what time they opened. I'm sure glad I checked because they were closed! So I guess I'll go there tomorrow.
After I ate supper I went for a little stroll around the neighborhood, picked up the mail and mailed out a couple of things.
Once back home, I sat out on the deck and knitted until it started raining.
I had chocolate chip cookies again for my snack.
I'll be playing Sims 3 again tonight. Last night I played until 11:45.
Hope you got to do something fun today.
Happyone :-)

I love this song and it's my song to Kenny.

It sounds as if you had a very productive day. The bathroom looks great. Would you like to come to Tennessee and do ours?
Karen, You work so very hard!!! Your b-room looks very nice. I visited the library today and picked up four more books. My updated Shelfari list is on the left of my blog.
That was a beautiful song! I've never heard of that young man or that group, but I'll be paying attention now that I have.
The bathroom came out beautifully. I really like the color combination of pink and green. Lovely!
Your new header is gorgeous...such a lush, green world you are living in.
Came over from Dick's blog - I like what you've done with your bathroom! And I like the color. I saw on your profile that you are an artist? What kind of artwork do you do? I mostly paint - always wanted to go into sculpture and working with glass, but never did:)
jeannette - I'm not an 'artist' but just marked arts on my profile because I consider my house is my canvas in the way I decorate it. I also feel that all my needlework and photographs are art too. :-)
Thanks for stopping by.
I really like how your bathroom turned out. So fresh and pretty. I want to paint my living room green, but every time I think I have the right shade I end up not liking it. That is a beautiful song. I had never heard it before.
Thank you so much for your recent visits, kind comments and prayers for my family. It means a lot to me.
Whar a beautiful song that was and that young man has a great voice.
Love the pretty bathroom!
The bathroom is gorgeous!!
A great looking guest bath, HappyOne!
A cat who plays Brahams - now that would make the 11:00 News! :)
Love the way the bathroom turned out. I guess we will be seeing other rooms you will be painting now that you started with your colors.
The song was just beautiful, I had never heard it before.
Have a great day.
