Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A few more pictures

It was only 25 degrees this morning when I went for my walk. The sun came out though and there was no wind and once again I was toasty warm wearing 4 layers. I was surprised to see so many people out early this morning.

Here are a few more pictures of the townhouse I took Thursday.
Pantry in the corner of the kitchen.
The washer and dryer will be here.
I wonder how often I'll use the dryer now that I'll have one.
These are the two small bedrooms upstairs.
Bedroom number 1.
Bedroom number 2.
Standing in the loft.
Windows in the master bedroom below.
One of the dormer windows straight across.
Looking up at the dormer windows in the master bedroom.
Ken is out this morning and I will do a few things around the house. Don't have any plans for rest of the day yet. We will just have to see what comes along.

Hope every one's Saturday will be a Happy One.

Will you have a yard? Some of these places don't allow clotheslines. A dryer is something one can get easily used to having, but I think that you'll miss your line dried sheets.

Love the look and size of the pantry!

Brrr! It's really been cold in east Tennessee also. I like it though. And I like watching your town house go up. It's looking good!

I didn't realize the master bed would be open to the loft like that. How cool. That will be fun to decorate.

I'm enjoying following along with your new house. Haven't posted or commented much lately. It's been a bit hectic for me but all is in order now and I'm just waiting for Harry to return from Nashville with the first of our house guests.

The new house is going to be lovely. Makes me want to build again but I don't think I'm up to taking on that kind of task. Besides, Harry would probably have a nervous breakdown during the process. Computer nerds like a pre-programmed program that is followed to the letter - live just ain't that-a-way.

Hope your Thanksgiving is everything you'd like and more. Have a wonderful day, my friend.

Happyone,

Cold here in Richmond, too, pretty close to 20 when we all gathered for TNT marathon training this morning. Even with gloves, I had to pull my hands into my fleece. But having been sidelined all week with a cold, it felt GREAT to be moving for a few miles. Plus a bunch of us on the team got together for breakfast afterwards, which was fun.

You new home to be looks like it will be really nice. Enjoy! Art

Vee - No yard but I plan on putting up lines on the deck and drying my clothes there. :-) I won't give up those fresh smelling sheets!!!

The house is really coming along. Went out to Pine Valley Farms today for a couple of wreaths and some roping. It is really feeling like Christmas. We need to do lunch again, soon!

I think it's gonna be great, I'm working in construction, it's not the same way they build houses here. Interesting for me!!!!!
