Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Starting the day

I didn't see many people out and about on my walk this early Sunday morning but I did get to watch the sun come up, have a deer run across the path up ahead of me, saw a fox and was lucky to see a heron flying low over the water. Every morning when I walk I take time to pray and thank God for another day.
Mark 1:35
And in the morning, long before daylight, He got up and went out to a deserted place, and there He prayed.
I wish you all Happy Sunday!

Leaving a warm bed behind...but oh the thrill of seeing those three sights!

Your morning sounded perfect, and I like the idea of consciously being thankful for each day. I hope the rest of your day was great.
