Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

2 day break

Another shot of the pond by the Drane house.

🌻     🌻
A mix of sun and clouds this morning when I walked and the
temperature was 52 degrees.

First walked over to the library and dropped a book down the book slot.
Then continued walking through town and down toward HT.
Back to town and around both cemeteries and the ball park loop.
Didn't see anyone else out walking.
Walked 6.2 miles.
🌻     🌻
We went to church this morning and spent an hour or so getting the room
set up for the Fingerprints Ministry which is tomorrow and Friday.
We are having another one of those two day marathons.
People can come between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM and stay for as little or
as long as they can.   We always have a lot of fun with much laughter and
the most interesting of conversations.
Pastor laughingly says he gets lots of ideas for sermons. 😊
Here is a close up of the staplers on the stands which Ken designed and made.
I mentioned it once before but don't think I've posted a picture of them.
The staplers fold down and the the stands come apart and are very easy
to put up and take down.

We then went to Subway and had subs for lunch,
did some errands that needed to get done and then before coming back home
we took a drive past the new house site just to see if they got started
cutting down the trees but NO nothing was started yet.

Our next two days we will be busy working at church all day
and I won't have any time for blogging so I'll be taking a 2 day break.
I'll be back on Saturday.

We taped this chart up on the wall and a rectangle will be colored in
to show the progress.  Each colored in section will be when one box is
filled with 420 Romans books finished and ready to ship out.
Our goal is to do 20,000 in the next two days.
Hopefully we will get a good turn out and God willing reach our goal.
I'll post the chart again on Saturday to show how much we did.

A happy day to you all.

I bet it is like a beehive when everyone is working there. Times of fellowship like this is wonderful.

I haven't taken Daisy to Subway since May, I do like how clean their restaurants always are

I agree with Henny Penny about Ken's many talents. Actually, you both have many talents and use them so well. I wish you great success in reaching your goal. I look forward to hearing all about it.
