Snapped this walking in the back parking lot of the school

Another pleasant weather morning for walking.  53 degrees with a mixture of sun and clouds.
Today I walked one of my connect the path routes.  I like these routes too because it is a change from the lake and gives a good deal of variety to my walk.
There were just a few people out but they were all on the sidewalks.  Didn't come across anyone at all on the paths.
It was just me and the six deer that I spotted and lots of birds.  I watched a Robin getting that early morning worm for breakfast.  She dropped it a few times but finally got it and then flew off with it.  Maybe it wasn't for her after all, but for her babies waiting for breakfast back at the nest.

It was a nice peaceful walk and I walked 6 miles.

It's Tuesday and knitting day.  We have moved from inside the mill to outside in a courtyard of a little mall last month but the weather was bad a couple of weeks so we still met inside and I didn't go last week.  So this was the first time outside for me this year.  It was a bit on the cool side but still a nice day with sun and clouds.  I worked on sewing weave-it squares on the blue and white baby blanket I'm making which kept me warm on this cool day. : )  I'm just about done with only 10 more squares to make and then sew.  I should be done by Sunday! 
I didn't count how many of us were there but I'd guess about 15 of us.   A woman walking by stopped and asked me about the blanket I was working on and I invited her to join our knitting group.  Who knows maybe she'll join us next time.

I usually stop at the library on the way home but I passed right by it this today.  I'm reading a book of my own and thought this would be a good time to read a few more of the books from off my shelf.  I'll see how many I can get read before the library calls to me.

I won't be having a snack tonight because after lunch I let a piece of birthday cake out of the freezer and had to eat it. There are still three pieces left in there.  And by the way the cake freezes very well even with the whipped cream.

I'm going now to dust off my book shelves which means I'll be rearranging them a bit too.  I have them all in alphabetical order by author now with fiction and non fiction altogether.  I'm going to sort the books into categories.  Changing the books around helps me to dust the books and shelves properly.

A standing bunny

Beautiful weather on this early Monday morning for walking.  Temperature a cool 55 degrees, with lots of sunshine and a slight breeze.  Lots of people must have felt the same way because for a Monday I saw a lot of people out by the lake as I walked around it. 
I stopped to watch the baby geese make their way carefully down to the water from the rocks here.  It's hard to tell by the picture but it is pretty steep.  They all made it safely.

I don't usually see a rabbit standing up like this and even though I had to zoom in to get the picture as least I got it.  Sometimes when I zoom in the picture looks like a painting like it does here.

I found the first two coins of the month this morning, both pennies but one of them was pretty hard to spot.  It has a little piece broken off and looks as if it's been around quite a while!!  It blends in so well in the parking lot. 

I walked 6.2 miles.

I'm staying home today to get some house cleaning done.  I've just hung up the first load of laundry and next I'll be doing my exercise DVD, have breakfast and then spend the day cleaning. 
Not very exciting but I'll feel so good when I get it done.

The travel trailer spot

Just a quick post tonight.  We just got back from spending the day on our land.  There and back in one day.  The trailer will be delivered to the land next Friday.  Today we went all along the driveway and the gravel road leading to our driveway and cut down trees and branches that might be in the way for the truck when it tows the trailer up there.  There was about a half mile we had to go along.  Ken cut and trimmed and I dragged the cut pieces into the woods.  We made a good team!

We will put the trailer off to the right side here in the picture.

I'm off now for my snack of ice cream.

The Travel Trailer

It was 62 degrees this morning and the humidity was starting to creep up again.  The weather looked liked it could have gone either way.  Rain or sun but it did neither and was just cloudy.
I walked around the lake and went in the opposite direction for a change.  I do that every once in a while.  Also on the way home I walked along the road instead of taking the path behind the church.
Lots of people out around the lake this morning.  Walkers, runners, bike riders, people with strollers, and fishermen.
I saw a blue bird and a goldfinch both sitting on the same branch.  Just couldn't get a picture of them though.
I counted 6 rabbits and I saw the first geese family that I took a picture of.  The babies are so big now they are hard to tell from their parents.  Here they are about to get out of the water.

Over on the other side of the lake I saw this one geese with just two little ones.  Odd to see only one adult and babies.  

I walked 6 miles.

We had an appointment at 2:00  at the RV dealer to go over the travel trailer and to have a lesson on using it.  I went over to the old house and met Ken there since it was closer to where he works.  It was easier for me to go there than for him to come and get me.

I went over the house in the morning and got the front and back lawn mowed.  I was just finishing up when my friend Lin walked by and she stopped by to talk.  Lin is the friend that often calls me when I'm walking in the morning and we 'walk and talk' then.  Nice to see her in person. : )

I got changed into some clean clothes and by then Ken got there and we went to the RV dealer for our lesson.

The trailer was waiting there for us all cleaned up and looking nice and after our walk through and lesson I took some pictures.  Here it is.  It is 28 feet long.

Here's the bed.  It was hard to get a good picture in such a small area.  The bed takes up the whole space, but there is a little room to walk on both sides of the bed to make it easy to make.

A very nice feature that was a bonus for us is this outdoor kitchen.

The trailer is just perfect for the two of us. We are not that crazy about the colors inside, kind of drab but I can put some color in it with some accessories.  It will be so nice to have this comfortable place to stay while we build our barn shed and eventually the cabin.  

The trailer will get delivered up to our land next Friday.

After we left the RV dealer not long after it started raining really hard and it still is.  I certainly won't have to water any plants outside this evening!

We put the rest of the birthday cake in the freezer and will have the rest in a week or two.  Tonight we go back to having some ice cream for our snack.
