Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Corn Gone

29 degrees this morning when I left the house.
It was calm and cloudy.

Nice getting to walk outside again after an inside walk yesterday.
Walked around town, both cemeteries and the ball park too.

The corn is cut down now and I can see beyond the fields again.

The barn is back in view.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.

The men were back at work on the roof of the church building.
Picture not that great but wanted to show them up there
working on that slippery roof.
First getting the ice and snow off so they could work.
Looks pretty dangerous and I asked God to keep them safe as they worked.

Didn't see any rabbits but saw a lots of their tracks in the snow.

Walked 6 miles

On the deck at the child care center.

☁️    🙂    ☁️

Food shopping day has came around again.
Since we didn't go to the Dollar General on Saturday we
stopped there first.
Got all we could get there and then went to the Shop an Save
to get the rest of the stuff on our list.

I enjoy getting home and putting everything away.
Feels good to see a nice full pantry.

Warmed up some this afternoon and just about all the snow is gone.

Got some work done around the house and then
knitted and read.

Thanks for dropping by for a visit.
A happy Tuesday to you. 🙂

Inside

On my morning walk yesterday I found a penny. 💰
Been a while since I found any money.
Not since I found Carlos's wallet.

Walked all 6 miles inside today.
Snowy, which isn't bad but was icy in places too.
Also very windy and in the 20's.

Bench Number 14
This overlooks a basketball court at Park East.
It is on the side of a building and I almost didn't see it.

Stayed inside and baked some Chocolate Chippers
and only ate one of them. 🍪

Looking out the window which is over the kitchen sink.
Never get tired of this view.
No deer out there today.

No hanging the laundry out on the line today.
So out came the large drying rack that I use when can't
hang my clothes outside.
I put it over a heating vent. 🙂

A nice day to stay inside.
Got a little work done and then just puttered about the house.
A happy Monday to you. 🙂
