Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cardboard Cutout

Another clear sky this morning with lots of stars.
36 degrees so a bit warmer than yesterday.
No wind again and sunrise was 7:36

Walked around town till it was lightish.
The 3 burned out street light have all be replaced.
Then walked around both cemeteries, the ball park and the new road.

Doesn't that look like a real person standing there?
It is a cardboard cutout of Phil, the Wiggle Man.

The parts of the corn that were left behind after it was cut down
has been turned into bales.

No one else out walking that saw this morning.

I've thought of another reason why it's good that I walk
first thing in the morning.
When I wake up I'm raring to go and wide awake.
Ken on the other hand likes to wake up slowly.
So when I'm up and out he gets to wake up in his own time.
By the time I get home he's ready to face me ๐Ÿ˜€
and we have breakfast.

๐Ÿ™‚   ๐Ÿ   ๐Ÿงข

Left for church right after breakfast for day two of Fingerprints.
Only 10 of us there this time but still got a lot done.
The two days we put together and boxed up 8,755 Roman's books.
We only had to do 6,000 to stay on track for the yearly goal of 100,000.
Now we are a few thousand ahead.

That's where we've been all day
and like yesterday it is nice to be home and have a relaxing evening.

Thanks again for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
