Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Bedford and baking

 Interesting sky this morning.

Mostly cloudy but a little sunshine too.
A warm morning for this time of year at 64 degrees.
A little windy and sunrise was at 7:26.

Walked all around town up and down all the side streets.

Looks like St Paul's church in the middle of town
will be getting new shingles on the roof.

You can see Phil recording his video for the day below.

Continued around both of the cemeteries.
Took a walk over to the long barn and the Drane house too.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.

🙂    🍁    ⛅️    🥾

Did a load of wash and got it hung out on the line.
After breakfast we left for Bedford, Pa with the trailer loaded with
the Romans books and the clothes.
It was a nice ride up there.

Had lots of help unloading everything and reloading another
pallet of scriptures to bring back.

On the way home, like we do every time we stopped
at Wendy's for lunch.

A couple of pictures driving back home.

At home this afternoon I baked a Pumpkin Spice Cake.
It is still cooling here.

I got the recipe on blogger friend Ellen's Blog.

I also made some chocolate pudding which I'll have tonight
for my snack instead of my usual ice cream.

That's it for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂❤️

Hope you enjoy that cake! What a great unusual sky and beautiful fall shots from your walk. I'm trying to get my mojo back after our trip. It takes longer and longer the older I get. Have a beautiful evening.

Does Phil do a new video every day? That's a lot of planning!

Oh my gosh! Stunning photos! The house with the fence and trees may be my favorite. The trees along the highway are gorgeous. And this SKY!!! I have never seen any sky like it! The clouds are brilliant yellow. This is my favorite post of yours ever!! Very inspiring!

What an adorable picture of that little girl showing her little brother (?) how to pray.
The sunrise picture is beautiful. So is the picture of the road and the Fall colours. What a lovely day to drive.

Amazing fall colours, or as we say here in NZ, autumn colours. We are enjoying spring here with beautiful spring flowers and blossoms everywhere. Colleen 🌻

When I saw the church getting a new roof gave me pain. I know the expense since just doing our store. UGH Your cake looks yummy. Love the fence with the cabin. Janice
