A cool 57 degrees this morning with sunny skies and a breeze.
I like to hear the wind blowing through the corn.
It has it's own unique sound.
Walked around both of the cemeteries to start.
Here's a look at the garden down by the Drane house.
Haven't seen any geese at the pond lately.
Continued walking through town and up and down side streets
making my way to the ball park which I walked around.
Then it was back to the Jeep and the end of my walk.
Rebecca was out walking Leo and just starting her walk as I ended mine.

Food shopping day and we went to the Walmart down in LaVale.
A much better shopping experience at that Walmart than
the one in Oakland.
Work continues on my recipes and I now have one binder
of 125 recipes in it and on my blog.
Have some more recipes to look through to add them
or throw them away.
I can see the end in sight.
Read a little more out on the porch.
Having hot Italian sausage, with onions and peppers
for supper which are cooking on the stove now.

I enjoyed seeing the garden by the Drane House. It reminds me of the gardens that you see when you go through a historical place like Mount Vernon. Very pretty.

That's what my husband wants to do with the rest of our backyard lawn area - put in planter boxes for growing more food. I guess that means we're not getting another dog. We're still negotiating that!
