Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Challenge Day 8

Doing the July Photo-a-day Challenge with ChrissyT
Day 8

Drink

We often have deer stop by and get a drink out back.

Early morning fog during my walk and then just cloudy.
Temperature 67 and not much of a breeze.

Started my walk walking back down the road I just drove up.

Turned around and back to town made a detour up and down
Sale Barn Road.

Back in town I walked up and down the main road and some
side streets on my way to the ball park and walked that loop.
Then back to walk around the cemeteries.
Only one of them because I had reached my step goal.

Pretty quiet around and didn't see anyone else out.

Pink, white, and red cone flowers.
(not mine)

Fog cleared and the sun appeared so I did a load of
laundry and hung it out to dry.

Got to a late start cleaning this week but got pretty much
all of it done today.

Later in the afternoon I spent some time out on
the front porch reading.

Easy supper tonight, Red Baron frozen pizza.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.

I love the Mahatma Gandhi quote, Karen. Lovely photos! How wonderful to have deer come and visit you and enjoy some water!
