Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

To the dentist

A beautiful sunny morning walk for me today.
It was a nice cool 51 degrees.

Walked around both of the cemeteries and then back
down the road towards home with a detour up and down
part of Barn Sale road.

A couple of pictures walking on Barn Sale.

Coming back into town.

Continued through town and back again.
As I passed by the dentist office one of the dentists was just
arriving at the office.
We said good morning and I said I'll be seeing you a little bit latter.

Headed on back to the pond and the Jeep.

No one else out that I saw.

Yesterday I retired another pair of walking boots and
wore a new pair this morning.
I wear Keen boots.

🙂    🌸    ☀️

Did a couple loads of laundry and hung them out to dry.

Gave my teeth a brushing and then we went to town
to go to the dentist for that dreaded 6 month cleaning.
We always make both of our appointments together
and I always go first to get it over with.
So happy to say that we both had the regular cleaning
and no problems.
So glad that is over with.
Next appointment is for Jan 13, 2027!!
Oh my that sounds so long away but it really isn't.

While Ken had his turn I walked to the library (less than a half mile)
and picked up a couple more DVD's and then walked back to the car
and read a couple of minutes till Ken was done.

Home for lunch and then we went back out to again.
This time to the bank.
What should have been a simple transaction took an hour.

Not much time to do anything else when I got home.
Got the laundry off the line, folded and put away.

Just having a quick frozen pizza for supper and then
out again for church this evening.

Hope you had a wonderful day.
Having a good check up from the dentist is always a good day.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

I was at the dentist's last week. He removed an old filling that was loose and replaced it. Did I miss the second part of Ken's trains? I saw the first part.

Always a good feeling to walk away from the dentists office without having to have anything else done.

My teeth are so bad I have to go every 4 months. I had to take mom to the oral surgeon the other day and she had to have 2 teeth pulled. She is doing better now. Hope your appt went well. Janice

Hi Karen. I agree with you, it is always such a relief when another visit to the dentist is over. I feel the same way about eye exams, and I have one of those coming up. You had another busy day. It can be frustrating when a simple transaction at the bank takes a long time. Been there, done that. Sounds like you took it all in stride. See you again soon!

Hello! I love seeing what your day brings! I enjoy your walks and your photos so. We got some much needed rain here a couple days ago, and when I went for my morning walk, it looked like someone had colored everything a rich shade of green! So beautiful. The dentist doesn't bother me. The doctor??? That's another story! Have a cozy evening, my friend.
