Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Loaded up the trailer

Skies were cloudy for this mornings walk.
A little breeze and it was 56 degrees.
Sunrise  5:49

Walked around both cemeteries a couple of times to start and then over to
the ball park loop and walked that loop a couple of times too.

The rest of my walk was up and down all the streets in town.

The corn is coming along nicely and is now half way to my knees.
We've been getting lots of rain and sun so the corn is looking good.

Didn't see anyone else out walking.
KitKat was out though and came over to me for his usual pet.

😊    ☁️    🥾

Went to church this morning and loaded up the church trailer
with the boxes of Romans books that we all put together.
102 boxes and each contains 420 books.
We had lots of help this time.
Another man Dave from church helped and two
young men were there to help also.
We came home with the trailer and were going to go
to Bedford tomorrow like we usually do and pick up the next pallet.
But the printing presses are giving them trouble and are down this week,
so we can't go get them till next week.
We could have brought the finished ones there but then would have had
to make another trip to pick up the new ones.

It looked like rain all day but hung the sheets out on the line anyway.
It never did rain and the sheets dried.

This afternoon I read and did a couple of cross word puzzles.
Hope to do some knitting this evening.

Still no news on David's job but sure do appreciate the prayers.

Hope your Monday was a happy one.
Thanks for coming by.
