Though it was cloudy this morning it was still good walking weather.
65 degrees with a little breeze.
Today I walked the Farm Loop.
Here's some pictures along my way.
The three donkeys and Faith, the horse were busy eating.
They looked up at me and then went right back to eating.
No cars passed me as I walked down the long hill.
The cows were out in the pasture today and as I walked up to the fence
they all started coming my way.
I walked up and down the path behind the school before heading
down the hill back to town.
I walked down the new road in town.
So far it is just hard packed dirt.
The tent that was at the pond yesterday was for a fishing event.
The parking lot was packed full when I got back!!

We almost went to the Celtic Festival in a little town not far from us.
I looked at their web page and it said tickets were $20.
Weren't sure we even wanted go so the $40 it would
have cost us made up our minds that we didn't really want to go.
So I went to the library for stitching with the ladies as usual.
There were 6 of us there today.
Did some diamond art this afternoon.
Have a kit to make bookmarks, the kind that go on a corner of the page.
Al published the first part of Ken's train layout on his
YouTube channel this morning.
This first part is them walking around looking at the layout
talking about the different scenes and how some things were made.
It shows the details of the layout.
It is about a half hour video.
If you would like to see it click on the link.
In a couple of days Al will published part 2 of the video
which will be about the trains and seeing them going around the tracks.
We had a thuderstorm pass by this afternoon which
brought much rain and wind.
Hope your Saturday was a happy one.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hello Karen! Mary and I were following the route you took, and it felt as though we were walking along with you. Your town gives such a wonderful sense of peace and community. I find myself wondering what that beautiful corner of the library is like where everyone gathers. It looks like such a welcoming place. I also took a look at the model railway display, and I was genuinely in awe of what they managed to create. I love model making, just as I love games, because they allow you to express your own world exactly as you feel it and imagine it. Thank you for taking us on such a lovely journey, and stay safe during the storms.
We had rain yesterday, but sunshine today.
That was a pricey entrance fee for the Celtic event. Too bad, probably would have been interesting.
I saw the beginning of Ken's video and am amazed by the layout. Now, I'm going to watch the rest. Thanks for the link.
We had rain today here in Montreal. Karen, your photos are gorgeous! I feel as though I was taking this walk myself! I am also always so happy to see the cows!!!
Lovely photographs on your post.
The fishing event looks popular.
Many thanks for the link to Ken's video.
All the best Jan
...Karen, I watched the video, I was mesmerized!!!
