65 degrees when I walked this morning.
A little fog around and then a mix of sun and clouds.
Not much of a breeze.
Walked up the hill and around the cemetery to start.
You can see how big the baby geese got - not babies anymore.
I bet tomorrow I see rolled hay here.
Stopped at the Jeep and picked up another book which I
brought to the library and put it down the slot.
Continued on over to the industrial park and walked around some of it.
Then over to the ball park and walked around there before
going back to the pond.
Rebecca was out walking and we passed each other twice.
Carrie was walking too - nice to see her again,
it's been a while since she's been walking.
I think this is called
Butterfly Flower.
Edited - Ginny identified this as Butterfly Milkweed.
Thanks Ginny

Washed a load of clothes and them hung out on the line.
Then off we went to Walmart to do our weekly food shopping.
Believe it or not they didn't have any milk so we had to
stop at Shop and Save on the way home to get some.
Made another stop at the library to pick up another DVD and a book.
I got The River We Remember.
It's another book by William Kent Krueger.
Hoping this one will be as good as the other two I've read by him.
I'll start it later this evening.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

...all on your images are fabulous!
Lovely photographs, especially the first one.
All the best Jan
The title of this book sounds so good. This is Butterfly Milkweed. I had no idea there are so many different kinds of Milkweed, over 70!
Beautiful photos. I just love the looks of your town.
Charming town and the photos are beautiful. They should make you the town's official photographer.
We have quail at different stages right now, toddlers, juniors and teens. So fun to watch. The mowed field is looking nice with that sky as a backdrop. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
65 degrees sounds absolutely perfect for a morning walk! I can't believe how fast those baby geese have grown up, they really do grow in the blink of an eye. Walmart being out of milk is so typical, but I'm glad you managed to track some down at Shop and Save! I hope your new book is a great read tonight. Enjoy!
