Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

One fine day

A cloudy morning today for walking.
41 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise is a nice early 6:06.

Started my walk going down and up the main road through town
with turn offs up and down the side streets.

Some pretty yellow daisy looking plants
along the side of the road but don't know the name.
I'm sure you will know what they are Tom 😊

Next I walked around the one cemetery and then the
cemetery up the hill.

A bird must have built a nest somewhere in this tree because
every time I get near it, a couple of black birds
start dive bombing me.

Continued walking to the ball park and around that loop a couple of times.
Thomas was there too running laps.
This is behind the park.

Lots and lots of skunk cabbage.

Then walked back to the pond and the Jeep and home again.

☁️    🌼    🥾    😊

The sun came out and it was a beautiful sunny day though a little on the cool side.

The sheets got washed and hung out on the line to dry.

We took our garbage to the dump and on the way home we stopped
and had lunch at Subway.
Haven't been there in years and so it was a treat.
Our 6 inch sandwiches were really good.
I had the oven roasted chicken and Ken had the Italian one.

We worked outside when we got home.
This time getting the branches and dead small trees cleared
in the woods on the right side of the driveway.
Ken cut and I stacked on the brush fence.
We both cut down a bunch of sticker bushes shoots
before they get to growing.
Lots more work to do but we made a good start.

Once in side I read for a while.
I had forgotten all about the sheets on the line so got them
in and made the bed.

It's one of those days we just don't feel like cooking so it's
a Red Baron frozen pizza supper for us.

That's been my day so far.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a wonderful day.

You don’t always need a plan.
Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, let go,

Golden Ragwort!! And they are so pretty and undeserving of the name! So, what kind of Red Baron do you like, there are so many different kinds of crusts and such.

Sounds like a perfect day. You're right, sometimes you don't need a plan.
We had leftovers for supper, so no cooking here either.

Yes, when there is just two, sometimes easy meals are the best.

We had leftovers for supper plus some Strawberries that I got on the weekend.
Is it just my computer or does the font today look very small?

I don't think I've ever seen those yellow flowers around here before.
Subway sounds good. Did you get any cookies?

Just last week I heard about the nationwide frozen pizza recall. Red Barron wasn't on the list. I'm afraid I don't care for frozen pizza. It's all my husband's fault! 😉
