I made the font bigger and it is quite large on my computer.
Hope it isn't too big now.
This morning when I walked it was 55 degrees, cloudy,
and a little breezy with rain on the way later in the morning.
Had a few sprinkles on the windshield on the way home.
Started my walk going up the hill and around the cemetery
a few times.
Then went through town and back going up and down
some of the side streets.
Continued over to the ball park and walked that loop too.
Up and down some more side streets and lastly around the
other cemetery.
Lots of butter cups all over the place.
Such pretty little flowers.
Bee on a rhododendron blossom.
Quiet around town no one out and about.
Found a penny.
☁️ 🌼 🌸 😊
I spent the morning in the kitchen baking.
A friend from church gave me quite a lot of rhubarb.
First I made Rhubarb Bread.
Next up was Rhubarb Pudding.
Cut up more rhubarb and strawberries and was going to make
a cobbler but decided I'd had enough baking for one day.
I'll make the cobbler in the next day or two.
I had quite a mess in the kitchen and was glad when
I had things put away and the dishes washed.
Look at the pile of dishes I washed.
We went to town after lunch to the library to get a book for me
and a DVD that Ken picked out.
Both things were on reserve for us.
Ken surprised me again and order some more diamond art for me.
More cards but these have words on them,
like thank you or happy birthday.
He got me book marks too, the kind you put on the corner of the page.
They should keep me busy for a while.
I finished ready Theo of Golden by Allen Levi.
An excellent book and one of my all time favorite books.
Tonight's supper is Bean and Spinach Soup which Ken made.
That's all for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day and
thanks for stopping by.
HappyK😊

Deb - Yes, I know the people selling the house but not well. When we lived in town they lived two houses down. They sold that and moved to where they are now. They have a daughter and 2 dogs.
This is their old house, quite a difference from their current house.

I do like the slightly larger font size :)
Beautiful photographs and so nice of Ken to order you some more diamond art cards.
All the best Jan
Baking can sure make a lot of dishes to wash. I do like your style of sink. I've only ever seen those in old houses but I like them a lot.
Thanks for enlarging the script. It looks just right now.
I so love buttercups. Hoping to get my hands on some rhubarb myself to bake. Janice
Sounds like a lovely day. I'm not sure how I missed reading here yesterday...but I have read it now. I checked out the link you provided to view the house that is on the market. That's quite a house...especially with being right in town.
Buttercups are a favorite of mine!
And Ken's soup sounds delicious!
The buttercups are so sweet! I love them. I haven't had rhubarb in a long time. I had a pie one time and it was with strawberries and rhubarb. It was delish.
And here I thought we were the only ones who don't have a dishwasher. Would you believe I have never tried rhubarb? You got a great bee photo!
Bean and spinach soup is one of my favorites. Now I'm craving it, whereas my husband craves a strawberry rhubarb pie like his mom used to make. I haven't seen rhubarb at my produce dept so I'd have to shop around.
Beautiful photos, Karen. I do like the larger font size.
Beautiful photos! We are seeing lots of buttercups here too.
We wash dishes by hand too! Take care, enjoy your day!
Im using my phone today so can't say what it would look like on a computer but the font size is fine here.
All that baking sounds deliciuos
...rhubarb is one of spring's treats. Your kitchen sink is a beauty!
I haven't had rhubarb pie in forever! My grandmother used to make the best!
It's been a while since you found a penny. I like the flowers photos.
God bless.
The font size is good and not too large. I have to get organized and do something with all my rhubarb from my plant. That soup sounds yummy!
Hi Karen! My aging eyes love your larger font! I have had raw rhubarb from my uncle's garden when I was a child, but I don't think I have ever had a dish with cooked rhubarb. I love your country kitchen sink! I have heard that Theo of Golden is very good, and I need to get a copy of it to read! Glad to know you liked it. Have a good Friday!
